Pharmacological action

The infusion of the collection has a hypoglycemic effect, helps reduce blood glucose, increases carbohydrate tolerance and enhances the glycogen-forming function of the liver.

Indications

Type 2 diabetes mellitus: in mild form - as a means of self-treatment, in moderate diabetes - in combination with oral hypoglycemic drugs or insulin.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug, nephritis, arterial hypertension, gastric and duodenal ulcer, increased irritability, insomnia, epilepsy, pregnancy, lactation, children (up to 12 years).

Special instructions

The use of the Arfazetin-EC collection must be agreed with your doctor. When using the infusion in combination with oral hypoglycemic agents, insulin, it is necessary to observe the rules of admission, precautions and contraindications, prescribed for these drugs. It is not recommended to use "Arfazetin-EC" in the afternoon to avoid sleep disturbances.

Dosage and administration

About 5 g (1 tablespoon) of the collection is placed in an enamel bowl, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, cover and heat in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter, the remaining raw materials are squeezed.

The volume of the resulting infusion was adjusted with boiled water to 200 ml. Take in the form of heat 1/3 - 1/2 cup 2-3 times a day 30 minutes before meals for 20-30 days. After 10-15 days, the treatment is recommended to be repeated. During the year, 3-4 courses are carried out (as agreed with the attending physician). Shake the infusion before use.

Side effects

Allergic reactions, heartburn, high blood pressure, insomnia are possible.

Storage conditions
