As part of dietary supplements, zinc is present in a chelated form, forming a complex with aspartic acid.

The latter belongs to nonessential amino acids, and, along with thionein, plays an important role in the transport of trace elements due to its unique ability not only to penetrate into those body systems in which there is a deficiency of bioelements, but also to activate their deposition in target organs.

Structure

one tablet of the Zinc DS bioactive supplement contains 75 mg of zinc aspartate (20 ± 2 mg in terms of zinc), which corresponds to 1 + 1/3 of the nominal daily intake of an adult, not exceeding the maximum permissible intake).

Among the auxiliary substances are gelatin (thickener), glucose (carrier).

Calcium stearate is used as an emulsifier.
