Indications
- Acute arterial hypotension.
- Vascular insufficiency in case of an overdose of vasodilators.
- Shock (traumatic, toxic).
- As a vasoconstrictor during local anesthesia.
Contraindications
- arterial hypertension
- tachycardia
- severe atherosclerosis
- glaucoma
- atrophic rhinitis
- thyrotoxicosis sardlkp - children's age up to 2 years (for nasal spray 0.05%)
- hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Caution is advised to use the drug for diabetes mellitus, ischemic heart disease.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
During pregnancy and during lactation (breastfeeding), the drug should be used only after a thorough assessment of the risk-benefit ratio for the mother and the fetus or infant. Do not exceed recommended doses.
Special instructions
The nasal passages must be cleaned before use.
Rinomaris should not be used for a long time, for example, in chronic rhinitis.
Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and drive mechanisms
Xylometazoline in doses exceeding the recommended ones may affect the ability to drive vehicles or equipment.
Composition
10 ml
xylometazoline hydrochloride 5 mg
Excipients: water of the Adriatic Sea - 2.46305 g, potassium dihydrogen phosphate - 4.93 mg, purified water - up to 10 ml.
Dosage and administration of
Rinomaris nasal spray dosed 0.05%
For children aged 2 to 6 years: 1 injection in each nostril 1-2 times / day.
Children over 6 years of age: 1 injection into each nostril 2-3 times / day.
Rinomaris nasal spray, dosed 0.1%
Children over 6 years and adults: 1 injection in each nostril 2-3 times / day.
The drug should not be used more often 4 times / day. Course duration - no more than 5-7 days.
Side effects
From the respiratory system: with frequent and / or prolonged use - irritation and / or dryness of the nasopharyngeal mucosa, burning, tingling, sneezing, hypersecretion, swelling of the nasal mucosa.
From the cardiovascular system: palpitations, tachycardia, arrhythmias, increased blood pressure.
From the nervous system: headache, insomnia with prolonged use in high doses - depression.
Other: vomiting, visual impairment.
Drug interaction
Rinomaris is incompatible with MAO inhibitors and tricyclic antidepressants.
Overdose
Symptoms: increased side effects.
Treatment: symptomatic treatment.
Storage conditions
The product should be stored out of reach of children at a temperature not exceeding 25 РC.
