The guidelines set out the main modern provisions of the X-ray diagnosis of hip dysplasia in dogs. The timing of the X-ray examination is indicated to determine the requirements for the image quality, possible errors during the X-ray examination. Methods for determining the angular parameters of the hip joint and assessing secondary destructive changes are available. A parametric scoring system for assessing hip dysplasia in dogs is presented. The book is recommended as a teaching aid for students and practicing veterinarians.
