DESCRIPTION

Vittri-1 (Vittry-1) is a drug for the prevention and treatment of hypovitaminosis A, D3, E and diseases developing on their background in animals and poultry. In appearance, the drug is a clear or slightly turbid oily liquid from light yellow to yellow.

COMPOSITION

Vittri-1 in 1 ml contains as active ingredients: vitamin A - 15,000 IU, vitamin D3 - 20,000 IU, vitamin E - 1 O mg and as an auxiliary substance vegetable oil (refined sunflower or rapeseed, or soy refined, or corn or cotton or olive or peach).

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Vittri-1 belongs to the combined vitamin preparations.

The combination of vitamins A, D3 and E has a complex effect on the body, replenishes the deficiency of fat-soluble vitamins, regulates the metabolism of phosphorus and calcium, helps to strengthen the general resistance and increase the resistance of animals to infectious and invasive diseases.

Vitamin A (retinol) is necessary for maintaining vision, strengthening the retina and visual adaptation in the dark, bone growth, normal reproductive function and embryonic development, regulation of division and differentiation of the epithelium (enhances the proliferation of skin epithelial cells, slows down keratinization processes). Vitamin A takes part as a cofactor in various biochemical processes.

Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is involved in the regulation of calcium-phosphorus metabolism, enhances the absorption of calcium and phosphates in the intestine (by increasing the permeability of the cellular and mitochondrial membranes of the intestinal epithelium) and their reabsorption in the kidney tubules, promotes the formation of a healthy bone skeleton and teeth.

Vitamin E (tocopherol) is an antioxidant responsible for slowing down the aging process, protects the cell membranes of body tissues from oxidative changes; stimulates the synthesis of heme and heme-containing enzymes - hemoglobin, myoglobin, cytochromes, catalase, peroxidase. It inhibits the oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids and selenium. Inhibits cholesterol synthesis. Prevents hemolysis of erythrocytes, increased permeability and fragility of capillaries, dysfunction of the seminiferous tubules and testicles, placenta, normalizes reproductive function.

Vittri-1, according to the degree of impact on the body, belongs to low-hazard substances (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76), in the recommended doses it does not have embryotoxic, teratogenic and sensitizing effects.

INDICATIONS

Vittri-1 is prescribed for the prevention and treatment of hypovitaminosis A, D3, E, xerophthalmia, tetany, rickets, osteomalacia, encephalomalacia, toxic liver dystrophy, dermatitis, poorly healing wounds and ulcers, catarrhal inflammation of the mucous membranes in mammals and birds, as well as to increase fertility of males and females, the viability of young animals.

APPLICATION

Vittri-1 is administered to animals orally (orally) in a mixture with a small amount of feed or applied to the root of the tongue daily for 3-4 weeks to 3 months, depending on the clinical severity of symptoms of metabolic disorders * in the following daily doses (per animal):

It is recommended to distribute the preparation evenly throughout the feed by thorough mixing and use on the day of preparation. The food to which the preparation has been added must not be boiled or heated, or malted or fermented.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

A contraindication to the use of the drug is the increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug and hypervitaminosis.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

The main symptoms of an overdose of the drug associated with vitamin hypervitaminosis can be constipation or diarrhea, vomiting, thirst, lethargy. In these cases, the use of the drug is discontinued and the animal is prescribed symptomatic therapy.

The peculiarities of the action of the drug during its first use and cancellation were not revealed.

The drug is approved for use by pregnant and lactating females, and their offspring.

SIDE EFFECTS

When using Vitgri-1 in accordance with this instruction, side effects and complications are usually not observed. In some animals, allergic reactions (skin rash, itching, swelling, redness) are possible; in these cases, the drug is discontinued and desensitizing therapy is performed.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

Store the drug in a closed original packaging, protected from light and moisture, at a temperature from 0 В° C to + 25 В° C. The shelf life of the medicinal product, subject to storage conditions, is 3 years from the date of production, after opening the primary package - 3 months. It is prohibited to use Vittri-1 after the expiration date.
