PURPOSE OF THE TEST:
Test strips are intended for qualitative and semi-quantitative express analysis:
nitrates (NO3-),
nitrite (NO2-),
total hardness (GH),
active chlorine (Cl2),
acidity (pH) in water.
These strips make it possible to control five basic water parameters in just 1 minute.
Test strips are for single use only.
Water that seems clean to us can undermine not only the health of your child, but also your own!
Numerous scientific studies show that pure drinking water is better for children of all ages and activity levels than fruit juices, sodas, powdered drinks with sweeteners, and sports drinks that contain electrolytes.
Children of all ages (excluding infants under 1 year old) should be given water throughout the day.
The quality of water in different parts of our planet varies significantly.
Water sources contain both natural and man-made pollution.
Already today, every second inhabitant of Russia is forced to use water of inadequate quality for drinking purposes, which does not meet sanitary and hygienic requirements for a number of indicators.
The problem of high-quality drinking water has become aggravated not only in megacities, but also outside the city.
Fertilizers, oil products and waste get into the wells, the water in the artesian wells is too hard, and the state of the village water pipelines is completely depressing.
It is clear that pure water should be clear, colorless, odorless and have a certain acidity (pH value).
However, the presence of various impurities and harmful microbes (nitrites) may not affect the appearance in any way, so you should not drink raw water.
Another thing is tap water, which was purified at water treatment plants.
But here, too, the purity of the water depends on the state of the water supply network, the method of its processing (chlorination, etc.) and even on the season (for example, in spring, during floods, fertilizers (nitrates, etc.), manure (nitrates), etc. etc.).
As a rule, water in our country houses comes from three sources: wells, wells and local water pipes.
DEFINED WATER PARAMETERS:
Nitrates.
Nitrates have a detrimental effect on the nervous, cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal tract and other internal organs.
Nitrates are especially dangerous for young children who have not yet formed a regenerating enzyme system.
The norm according to SanPiN is up to 45 mg / l.
Nitrite.
The effect of nitrites on the body is manifested in changes in the work of the cardiovascular and excretory systems, and is also detrimental to the organs of the gastrointestinal tract and liver.
The norm according to SanPiN is up to 3 mg / l.
Rigidity.
Drinking water of high hardness contributes to the formation of urinary stones, and low water slightly increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases (heart attack, arrhythmia).
The norm according to SanPiN is up to 7.0 W (mg-eq / l) inclusive.
Active chlorine.
The high content of chlorine and its compounds in the water provokes respiratory viral diseases, pneumonia, gastritis and, what is most terrible, presumably oncological diseases.
The norm according to SanPiN is up to 0.5 mg / l.
Acidity (pH).
The pH of most natural waters is close to 7. For water for household and drinking purposes, the pH should be in the range from 6.0 to 9.0 pH units.
DEFINITION
Before analysis, pour water into a container and mix thoroughly.
Use only clean dishes to collect water.
For analysis, use only freshly collected water from the source.
Do not carry out the determination under running water!
1. Open the kit, take out the test strip (when packing the test strips into a case, the latter should be immediately tightly closed with a lid).
2. Vertically immerse the test strip sensors completely in water for 2-3 seconds.
3. Remove the test strip vertically and remove excess water on the sensor elements by gently touching the edge of the strip to clean filter paper (napkin, paper towel, toilet paper, etc.) for 2-3 seconds.
4. Exactly 1 minute later, compare the color of each sensor element in the test strip with the corresponding color bar on the package label or color bar insert in good light (cannot be compared with sunlight).
Changes in color, which can only occur at the edges of the sensory area (edging), are not diagnostic.
!
Registration of the obtained analysis results can be carried out visually.
!
Do not compare the color of the sensor element with the color scale in direct sunlight.
!
During the test, do not touch the sensor elements of the Test Strip with your hands.
A change in the color of any sensor (s) element (s) indicates the presence of one of the analytes (parameters) in water (qualitative determination).
Semi-quantitative determination is carried out by comparing the color of the sensor (s) element (s) with the corresponding color scales.
The label contains color scales, consisting of a number of color fields, next to each of which the values of the corresponding analyte (parameter) are indicated.
Changes in color, which can only occur at the edges of the sensory area (edging), are not diagnostic.
!
Strict adherence to the instructions for use is essential to obtain reliable results!
PRECAUTIONS
All test strip components are non-toxic.
Since the color scales of different test strip batches may differ in color, it is necessary to compare the color of the sensor elements only with the scales of the packaging from which the strip was taken.
To stay active, you should avoid touching sensory elements with your hands.
CONDITIONS OF STORAGE, OPERATION AND DISPOSAL OF THE PRODUCT
Test strips should be stored in the manufacturer's packaging in a dry place at temperatures up to 30 ° C (in the absence of acid, alkali and organic solvent vapors) for the entire shelf life of 24 months.
Biochemical research of water should be carried out at a temperature of + 10- + 35 ° C.
Improper storage and use will result in the loss of functionality of the test strips.
Keep out of the reach of children.
It is necessary to protect the indicator strips from high humidity and direct sunlight.
Avoid direct sunlight on the color scale.
Each indicator strip is designed for one determination.
After opening the case, the indicator strips should be used within no more than 5 months.
The test strip taken out of the package should be used for analysis within 15 minutes.
Do not use after the expiration date.
In case of testing after use, all components and packaging should be thrown into the waste container.
