DESCRIPTION

Vinilin (Vinilin) ​​- a drug for the treatment of wounds of various origins, endometritis and mastitis in animals. In appearance, the drug is a thick, viscous liquid of light yellow color with a specific odor.

COMPOSITION

Vinylin contains polyvinox (polyvinyl butyl ether) as an active ingredient.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Vinylin has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, anesthetic effects. Promotes the cleansing of wounds, tissue regeneration and epithelialization.

The drug is harmless, does not have a toxic effect on the cells and tissues of the body. Its action is based on the ability to change the immunobiological properties of tissues, increasing their protective response.

The medicinal product, according to the degree of impact on the body, belongs to low-hazard substances (hazard class 4 in accordance with GOST 12.1.007-76).

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

Vinylin is used externally for the treatment of wounds of various origins (including purulent), burns, frostbite, trophic ulcers, inflammatory skin diseases, dermatitis, mastitis.

The drug is used externally, intracisternally and intrauterinely. Before use, warm to 39 В° C -40 В° C and shake vigorously.

For the treatment of wounds, boils, burns, complicated wound surfaces, the drug is sprayed from a distance of 20-25 cm for 3 seconds, 1 time per day with an interval of 1-2 days until recovery.

For the treatment of endometritis, the drug is administered in the following doses: to cows and mares - 50-55 g each, which is ensured by spraying the drug from the balloon for 28-32 seconds; sows and ewes - 25-30 g each, for which the drug is injected within 14-16 seconds.

Before the intrauterine administration of Vinilin, the external genital organs and the root of the tail are sanitized. If necessary, the uterine cavity is freed from inflammatory exudate.

To inject the drug, a spray head with a catheter is put on an aerosol balloon, the cervix is ​​grasped with a hand inserted through the rectum, the catheter is carefully inserted through the cervix into the uterine cavity and, holding the aerosol balloon vertically, the contents of the balloon are injected.

The drug is administered at intervals of 48 hours 2-4 times, depending on the severity of the disease.

For the treatment of mastitis, before using Vinilin, the contents of the diseased quarter of the udder are milked into a separate bowl, the nipple is disinfected with 70% alcohol.

To administer the drug, remove the cap from the valve device, put on the nozzle and insert it into the nipple canal. Light pressing on the valve device for 2-3 seconds ensures that the required dose of the drug is delivered to a quarter of the udder.

Lactating cows with clinical mastitis are injected with Vinilin 2 times a day with an interval of 10-12 hours until recovery.

With subclinical mastitis, Vinilin is used once a day for 3 days.

To dry cows with mastitis, Vinilin is administered three times with an interval between injections of 3-4 days.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Overdose symptoms when using the drug in accordance with this instruction has not been established.

The peculiarities of the action of the drug at the beginning of use or when it is canceled have not been identified.

Avoid skipping the next dose of the drug (treatment), as this can lead to a decrease in therapeutic efficacy. If one or more doses are missed, the use of the drug is resumed as soon as possible in the same dosage and according to the same scheme.

The use of Vinilin does not exclude the use of other medicines.

Milk for external and intrauterine use of the drug is used for food without restrictions. In the treatment of mastitis, milk from healthy quarters of the udder is used for food without restrictions, and from patients - after the complete disappearance of the clinical signs of mastitis, confirmed by mastitis tests.

The meat of slaughter animals when using the drug is used without restrictions.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

A contraindication to use is the individual hypersensitivity of the animal to the drug.

SIDE EFFECTS

Side effects and complications when using Vinilin in accordance with this instruction have not been established.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

The shelf life, subject to storage conditions, is 5 years from the date of manufacture. It is prohibited to use Vinilin after the expiration date.

Store the drug in the manufacturer's closed packaging at a temperature of 5 В° C to 25 В° C.
