DESCRIPTION

Emulsion for intrauterine administration in aerosol packaging, when released from the balloon, forms a light yellow foam.

Composition

Contains in 1 g: dioxidine (hydroxymethylquinoxalindioxide) - 15 mg, norfloxacin hydrochloride - 30 mg.

INDICATIONS

For the prevention and treatment of inflammatory processes of the uterus after obstetric aid in complicated and pathological childbirth, surgical separation of the placenta, with acute postpartum endometritis in cows and sows, and with metritis-mastitis-agalactia syndrome in sows.

Pharmacological properties

The active ingredients that make up the drug have a wide spectrum of antimicrobial action, inhibit the growth and development of pathogenic gram-positive and gram-negative, aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms. The drug is effective for low sensitivity or resistance to antibiotics and other chemotherapeutic agents. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-exudative and local analgesic effects. When released from the balloon, the foam increases in volume, filling the entire uterine cavity, which ensures better penetration of the active substances into the endometrium.

APPLICATION AND DOSAGE

Before the introduction, the balloon with the drug is heated in a water bath at a temperature of (45 + 5) В° C for 10 minutes and vigorously shaken.

By pressing the spray head, the drug is injected into the uterine cavity using a 60 g catheter (1 dose) per animal with an interval of 24 hours:

for medicinal purposes, cows within 3-4 days, sows - within 1-3 days;

for prophylactic purposes to cows and sows - once.

CONTRAINDICATION

Individual hypersensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug, including a history. It should not be used simultaneously with bacteriostatic antibiotics (chloramphenicol, macrolides and tetracyclines) and nitrofurans, theophylline and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

LIMITATIONS

Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed no earlier than 3 days after the last injection of the drug. It is prohibited to use milk of dairy cows for food purposes earlier than 5 days after the last administration of the drug.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE

Store in closed manufacturer's packaging in a place protected from direct sunlight, away from fire and heating devices, separately from food and feed, at a temperature of 5 В° C to 20 В° C. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not open the container. Protect from shocks and falls.
