DESCRIPTION
Vetom 4 - is used by agricultural, domestic animals and poultry for the prevention and treatment of dysbacteriosis, to increase the natural resistance of the body, to increase the safety and productivity of animals, to stimulate the growth and development of young animals.
COMPOSITION
Contains as active ingredients dry bacterial mass of live spore-forming bacteria Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain VKPM B-10643 (DSM 24615), as well as auxiliary substances - sugar or powdered sugar and starch.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
The bacteria Bacillus amyloliquefaciens VKPM B-10643 (DSM 24615), used for the manufacture of the drug, are highly resistant to digestive juices and gastrointestinal enzymes and the ability to quickly colonize it. In the intestines of animals, bacterial spores are transformed into vegetative forms and release antibiotic-like substances, enzymes, and other biologically active substances, under the influence of which the following are normalized: intestinal biocenosis, acidity of the environment, digestion, absorption and metabolism of iron, calcium, fats, proteins, carbohydrates, triglycerides, amino acids , dipeptides, sugars, bile salts.
Vetom 4 stimulates cellular and humoral immunity factors.
1 g of the preparation contains 1 Г— 106 CFU (colony-forming units) of live microbial cells of the bacterial strain Bacillus amyloliquefaciens VKPM B-10643 (DSM 24615).
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
For prophylactic purposes, Vetom 4 is used as a group method with water, feed, premixes, mineral and vitamin supplements and other feed mixtures at the rate of 1.5 kg per 1 ton or individually with water or feed at a dose of 50 mg / kg of live weight 1 time / day for 15-20 days.
The rectal route of administration of Vetom 4 is allowed at a dose of 50 mg / kg of live weight 1 time / day for 15-20 days. The drug is diluted with warm boiled water and administered to the animal after a cleansing enema.
For therapeutic purposes, the drug is prescribed individually at a dose of 50 mg / kg of live weight 2 times / day with an interval of 8-10 hours until the clinical signs of the disease disappear. In severe cases of the disease, it is allowed to increase the frequency of administration up to 4 times / day with an interval of 6 hours.
In order to correct immunodeficiency states, Vetom 4 is prescribed 1-2 times / day at a dose of 50 mg / kg of live weight for 5-10 days.
Special measures for missing one or more doses of the drug are not provided, the course of treatment and prevention continues.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
It is forbidden to prescribe Vetom 4 simultaneously with antibiotics and sulfonamides. Slaughter products after the use of Vetom 4 are sold without restrictions.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
No contraindications for the use of the drug have been established.
SIDE EFFECTS
When using the drug in accordance with the instructions, side effects and complications are not observed.
There were no symptoms of toxicosis or other undesirable reactions in case of an overdose of Vetom 4.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
Vetom 4 should be stored and transported in the manufacturer's packaging in a dry, dark place, out of reach of children, at temperatures from 0 В° C to 30 В° C.
Shelf life of the drug is 4 years from the date of release, subject to storage and transportation conditions. After the expiration date, the drug is not suitable for use.
After opening the primary package, the drug is stored at room temperature for 15 days.
