Vaccine Vakderm TF for cattle (10 doses) 1 bottle 10 ml
DESCRIPTION
Vaccine against trichophytosis of cattle. Dosage form: suspension for injection.
In appearance, the vaccine is a homogeneous suspension of fungal cells of a grayish-white color with a brownish tint.
COMPOSITION
The vaccine is made from the cells of the culture of the fungus Trichophyton verrucosum, grown on a selective nutrient medium wort agar with the addition of formalin inactivant - 0.3%.
BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
The vaccine induces the formation of immunity in cattle to trichophytosis in 25-30 days after double administration with an interval of 7-14 days. The tension of post-vaccination immunity persists for at least 36 months. In one immunizing dose of the vaccine, the concentration of fungal cells is 80-120 million / ml (0.02-0.04 g of fungal biomass in 1 ml of vaccine).
The vaccine is harmless, areactogenic, has therapeutic properties, which are expressed in the rejection of trichophytosis crusts in sick animals and the beginning of new hair growth after the second injection.
APPLICATION
Before use, the vial (ampoule) with the vaccine is heated to body temperature, shaken to ensure the uniformity of the suspension. For vaccination, reusable syringes and needles are used, which are sterilized by boiling or use disposable syringes. A separate needle is used for each animal. The injection site is treated with 70% alcohol. When vaccinating, you must follow the rules of asepsis and antiseptics.
The vaccine is administered intramuscularly, twice, into the croup with an interval of 7-14 days in the following doses:
Age of animals preventive curative
calves from 1 to 4 months old 1.0 ml 2.0 ml
calves over 4 months of age 2.0 ml 4.0 ml
adult animals 4.0 ml 4.0 ml
Immunization of animals in the incubation period of the disease with trichophytosis can provoke an accelerated manifestation of clinical signs of mycosis in the places of localization of the pathogen (single or multiple mycotic foci appear on the animal's skin). In 7-14 days for such animals, it is necessary to repeat the double administration of the vaccine in the same doses and at the same interval as indicated above.
Violations of the vaccination schedule should be avoided, as this can lead to a decrease in the effectiveness of immunoprophylaxis and immunotherapy of trichophytosis. If the next vaccine injection is missed, it is necessary to immunize as soon as possible. During the treatment of animals with the vaccine, it is not recommended to carry out deworming within 7 days before and after vaccination. It is recommended to deworm the animals 15 days before vaccination.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
It is forbidden to vaccinate clinically sick and / or weakened animals with increased body temperature in the second half of pregnancy. Weakened and sick animals (except for those with trichophytosis) are preliminarily treated for concomitant disease, and after recovery they are immunized against trichophytosis.
It is forbidden to use the Vakderm-TF vaccine in conjunction with other drugs that can suppress the immune system of the body of the vaccinated animal.
OVERDOSE
In case of an overdose of the vaccine in animals, individual sensitivity may be observed in the form of the formation of a seal at the injection site. When a post-vaccination reaction occurs during primary and repeated immunizations, the animal must be provided with rest, and the inflamed area must be treated with a 5% tincture of iodine.
SIDE EFFECTS
When using the vaccine in accordance with this instruction, side effects and complications are not observed.
Milk and slaughter products of vaccinated animals are used without restriction.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Vaccine vials without labels, expired, with a violation of the integrity and / or tightness of the closure, with discolored and / or consistency of the contents, with the presence of impurities, as well as vaccine residues that have not been used within 24 hours after opening the vials (ampoules ) are subject to rejection. Vaccine Vakderm-TF is inactivated and does not require disinfection.
