Pharmacological action

Staphylococcal vaccine has an antimicrobial effect. The introduction of the drug into the body causes the formation of specific antimicrobial antistaphylococcal immunity in vaccinees.

Indications

Treatment of pustular skin diseases of staphylococcal etiology: boils, carbuncles, staphyloderma.

Contraindications

Acute infectious (non-staphylococcal) and non-infectious diseases, including the period of convalescence, chronic diseases in the acute stage.

Vaccine treatment is carried out no earlier than a month after recovery.

Diseases of the liver and kidneys

Additional contraindications for children from 6 months. up to 6 years

Allergic diseases: asthma, widespread eczema and neurodermatitis, recurrent asthmatic bronchitis, Quincke’s edema, central nervous system diseases, rickets of the 2nd and 3rd degrees, endocrine system diseases, 2 and 3 degree malnutrition. In case of prematurity (body weight at birth less than 2,500 kg), treatment is carried out provided that the child reaches normal age indicators.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

It is contraindicated to vaccinate during pregnancy and lactation.

Special instructions

The drug is not suitable for use in ampoules with impaired integrity, labeling, with a change in physical properties (presence of opalescence, sediment), with an expired Expiration, improper storage. The opening of the ampoule with the vaccine and the vaccination procedure is carried out with strict observance of the rules of asepsis and antiseptics. An opened ampoule vaccine should be used immediately.

1 amp. contains a complex of soluble thermostable antigens extracted from staphylococcus microbial cells by water-phenolic extraction

Dosage and administration

The staphylococcal vaccine is administered subcutaneously in the shoulder or subscapular region for children from 6 months of age, to adolescents and adults.

The course of treatment for adults and children from 7 years of age consists of single daily injections according to the following scheme: 1 day - 0.2 ml, 2 day - 0.3 ml, 3 day - 0.4 ml, 4 day - 0.5 ml 5 day - 0.6 ml Day 6 - 0.7 ml, day 7 - 0.8 ml, day 8 - 0.9 ml, day 9 - 1.0 ml.

For children from 6 months to 7 years, the dose at the first injection is 0.1 ml.

For diseases with common skin lesions occurring with relapses, it is advisable to conduct a second course of treatment according to the same scheme after 10-15 days.

Side effects

Skin hyperemia and slight soreness may develop at the injection site. In some patients, the introduction of the drug may be accompanied by an increase in temperature by 0.5-1 РC. If any of the side effects indicated in the instructions are aggravated, or if you notice any other side effects not listed in the instructions, inform your doctor.
