DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
The vaccine is used in dysfunctional and threatened by salmonellosis, pasteurellosis and streptococosis farms.
When using the vaccine in the cold season, the vials are heated in a water bath to a temperature of 30 to 360C. Before use, each vial of the vaccine is shaken until a homogeneous suspension appears. Before use, syringes and needles are sterilized by boiling for 20 minutes; a separate needle is used for each animal. The injection site is disinfected with 70% alcohol. Observe the rules of asepsis and antiseptics.
Specific prevention of salmonellosis, pasteurellosis and streptococcosis in piglets begins with the immunization of sows. The vaccine is injected twice intramuscularly behind the ear with an interval of 10-12 days. for 1.5-2.0 months before farrowing, taking into account body weight in doses: up to 100 kg - 5 cm3 each, up to 150 kg - 7-8 cm3 each, up to 200 kg and more - 10 cm3 each. Piglets from non-immune queens are vaccinated primarily at the age of 12-15 days. and again after 8-10 days. in a dose of 2 cm3, and from immune - respectively at the age of 25-28 and 33-38 days. in doses of 2 and 3 cm3. Revaccination is carried out at 90-100 days of age, 4 cm3.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Slaughter products of vaccinated animals are used without restrictions, regardless of the timing of vaccination.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Clinically sick animals, as well as young animals lagging behind in growth and development, are not subject to vaccination.
SIDE EFFECTS
After the vaccine is administered, some piglets may experience general and local reactions. The general reaction is expressed by a short-term increase in temperature, depression and refusal to feed.
