COMPOSITION
Formalin-inactivated vaccine concentrated culture of pasteurella of cattle, buffalo and sheep. Excipients: water-oil emulsion, emulsifier.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
The vaccine causes the formation of specific immunity in the body of vaccinated animals. Immunity is created by 10-15 days after vaccination and lasts up to 12 months. The vaccine is immunogenic, harmless and areactogenic.
INDICATIONS
The vaccine is used for prophylactic and involuntary vaccinations in farms of all cattle, small ruminants and buffaloes, unfavorable for pasteurellosis, starting from the age of three months.
APPLICATION
In permanently unfavorable points for pasteurellosis, growing young animals are vaccinated when they reach the age of three months. The vaccinated animals are revaccinated after 12 months. During the vaccination, the generally accepted rules of asepsis and antiseptics are observed. Syringes and needles are sterilized by boiling for 10-15 minutes. When administering the vaccine, it is recommended to use shortened injection needles of a sufficiently large diameter.
In case of an outbreak of pasteurellosis, animals are injected with anti-pasteurellosis serum. In the future, but not earlier than 10 days after the administration of the serum, these animals are vaccinated with the pasteurellosis vaccine.
Before vaccination, a clinical examination of the animals is carried out. Only healthy animals are vaccinated. Also, before and after vaccination, animals should be protected from severe hypothermia and long tiring journeys. It is not recommended to vaccinate in hot (+ 28 В° C and above) summer time unless absolutely necessary. Feeding should be complete.
Before use, the vials with the vaccine are shaken thoroughly, and in the cold season they are preheated in a water bath to 35-37 В° C.
At the injection site, the wool is pre-cut, the skin is disinfected with alcohol or a 0.5-1.0% solution of carbolic acid.
Kind of animal Mode of application Dosage
Cattle and buffalo vaccination is carried out once intramuscularly in the middle third of the neck injected at 3cm? - by 1.5 cm? on both sides of the neck

During long-term storage, slight detachment of 0.5-1 cm of mineral oil under the emulsion is allowed. Upon thorough shaking, the vaccine acquires a homogeneous homogeneous structure.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
It is not allowed to vaccinate in the presence of other acute infectious diseases on the farm.
When using the vaccine, you should not use antibacterial drugs or drugs that have a suppressive effect on the immune system of animals (immunosuppressants).
SIDE EFFECTS
Vaccinated animals can be exported to other farms 15 days after vaccination, and meat and milk are used without restrictions.
After vaccination, some of the vaccinated animals in the first 24-48 hours may experience a slight depression, an increase in body temperature by 0.5-1.0 В° C and a local reaction in the form of a slight swelling.
