DESCRIPTION

The vaccine against Escherichiosis of animals Koli-Vak is a gray-white liquid with a sediment that easily breaks down when shaken.

COMPOSITION

The vaccine contains protective antigens of enteropathogenic Escherichia, somatic (09, 078, 0141), adhesive (K88, K99, 987P, F41), capsular polysaccharide (K80, KZO, K87), as well as heat-labile and heat-stable toxoids sorbed on aluminum hydroxides.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

The vaccine induces the formation of immunity in farm animals and fur-bearing animals of cell content to escherichiosis in 7-1 O days after repeated administration for up to 6 months in adult animals and 4 months in young animals. Colostral immunity in newborns obtained from vaccinated animals lasts for 1 month.

1 cm3 of the vaccine contains about one billion Escherichia microbial cells. The vaccine is harmless, has no therapeutic effect. / p>

INDICATIONS FOR USE

The vaccine is intended for the prevention of escherichiosis of farm animals and fur-bearing animals of cage keeping in farms that are unfavorable for this disease.

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

Vaccinations are subject to: pregnant farm animals 1.5-2 months before birth, piglets and lambs before weaning; adult population of foxes and polar foxes 2-3 weeks before the rut or in the first half of pregnancy.

The vaccine is administered intramuscularly to farm animals in the neck area, fur animals from the inner side of the thigh, twice with an interval of 10-15 days in the following doses:

Before use, the vaccine is heated in a water bath at a temperature of 36-37 В° C for 30 minutes and shaken.

Syringes and needles are sterilized by boiling. A separate sterile needle is used to vaccinate each animal. The injection site is disinfected with 70% alcohol.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Symptoms of manifestation of escherichiosis or other pathological signs in case of an overdose of the vaccine have not been established.

The peculiarities of post-vaccination reactions during the initial and subsequent vaccine injections have not been established.

Milk and slaughter products of vaccinated animals are used without restrictions.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

It is forbidden to vaccinate animals that are clinically ill, with fever, weakened, emaciated.

Deworming is not allowed within 7 days before and 13-14 days after vaccination.

SIDE EFFECTS

When using the vaccine in accordance with this instruction, side effects and complications, as a rule, are not noted. In some animals, there may be a short-term increase in temperature, depression, decreased appetite and / or the formation of a slight swelling at the injection site, spontaneously disappearing after 24-48 hours.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

Store in a dry, dark room at temperatures from +4 to +15 В° РЎ. Shelf life 2 years from the date of manufacture.
