The vaccine causes the formation of an immune response to the causative agent of erysipelas in young pigs on the 5-8th day after a double, and in pigs older than 4 months of age - a single injection, lasting 5 months.

Before use, the vaccine is diluted with 0.85% saline at the rate of 1 cm3 per one immunizing dose. The diluted vaccine must be used within 4 hours. The injection site is disinfected with a 70% ethyl alcohol solution.
Piglets are vaccinated starting from 2 months of age twice with an interval of 25-30 days; pigs older than 4 months - once. Revaccinate animals every 5 months at the same dose.
Pregnant sows are vaccinated 30-35 days before farrowing.
The vaccine is administered intramuscularly behind the ear or in the area of the inner surface of the thigh at a dose of 200 million live microbial cells in a volume of 1 cm3, regardless of the age and weight of the animals.
In case of swine erysipelas, all clinically healthy animals on the farm are vaccinated regardless of the timing of the previous vaccine administration.
Sick pigs are isolated and treated with antiporotic serum and antibiotics of the penicillin series, animals after treatment are vaccinated no earlier than 14 days later.
