Hepatosan - detoxifying, hepatoprotective.
Pharmacodynamics
The effect is due to xenogenic hepatocytes and their biological components that are biocompatible with macromolecules of the human body.
The mechanism of action includes two phases: intestinal, in which the drug has a detoxifying effect due to sorption of toxic products in the intestine and metabolic (hepatoprotective), in which biological components contribute to the restoration of the functional activity of the liver. The drug contains amino acids, trace elements, vitamins, essential phospholipids, mesenchymal enzymes, cytochromes.
Detoxification properties: manifested through sorption and removal of toxins and toxic products from the intestine, as well as sorption of high molecular weight volatile fatty acids and their isomers (valerianic, isovalerianic, caproic, isocaproic).
Adsorbing properties: based (in the study of low molecular weight metabolites of obligate microflora) on the delay in absorption of metabolites of microflora of the large intestine.
Protein-synthesizing properties: the presence of 18 amino acids in the preparation, helps to compensate for their deficiency and the synthesis of necessary proteins, improves the metabolic ability of liver cells, promotes sorption and elimination of toxins.

Dosage and administration
Inside, 15-30 minutes before meals, with a little water. In acute liver failure - 0.4 g (2 capsules) 3 times a day. The course of treatment is 10 days.
In chronic liver failure - 0.4 g (2 capsules) 2 times a day. The course of treatment is 20 days. If necessary, the treatment is repeated on the recommendation of a doctor.
With cirrhosis of the liver in the stage of decompensation - 0.4 g (2 capsules) 3 times a day, for 10 days. Then - at 0, 2 g (1 capsule) 2 times a day, for 14 days. In order to reduce intoxication in patients with cirrhosis of the liver - 0.2-0.4 g (1-2 capsules) per day constantly.
