COMPOSITION
Tylosin 50 in 1 ml contains as an active ingredient: tylosin (in the form of a base) 50 mg, respectively, and as auxiliary substances: 1,2-propanediol, benzyl alcohol and water for injection.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Tylosin belongs to the antibacterial drugs of the macrolide group.
Tylosin is active against Gram-positive and some Gram-negative bacteria, including: Escherichia coli, Bacillus anthracis, Pasteurella spp., Haemophilus spp., Leptospira spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Erysipelothory spp., Cpp. ., Chlamydia spp., Brachispira spp. Tylosin has a bacteriostatic effect, suppressing protein synthesis in bacterial cells, as a result of the formation of a complex with the 50S-subunit of ribosomes.
When administered intramuscularly, the antibiotic is rapidly resorbed and reaches maximum tissue concentrations approximately 1 hour after administration. The therapeutic level of the antibiotic in the body is maintained for 20-24 hours. It is excreted from the body mainly with urine and bile, in lactating animals - with milk.
According to the degree of impact on the body, it belongs to low-hazard substances (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76).
PURPOSE
Tylosin is used to treat: bronchopneumonia in cattle and small ruminants, pigs, dogs and cats; bovine mastitis; enzootic pneumonia, arthritis, dysentery, porcine atrophic rhinitis; infectious agalactia of sheep and goats; secondary infections in viral diseases.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
Tylosin 50 is administered only intramuscularly 1 time per day for 5-7 days in a row. When re-using, it is necessary to change the injection site.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
When working with Tylosin, you should follow the general rules of personal hygiene and safety measures provided for when working with medicines.
When working with the drug, it is prohibited to drink, smoke and eat. At the end of work, hands should be washed with warm water and soap.
People with hypersensitivity to the drug components should avoid direct contact with Tylosin. If the drug gets on the skin or mucous membranes, immediately rinse them with plenty of running water. In the event of allergic reactions or accidental ingestion of the drug into the human body, you must immediately contact a medical institution (with you have instructions for use or a label).
For pregnant and lactating females, the drug is used with caution under the supervision of a veterinarian.
Slaughter of animals for meat, which was used Tylosin, is allowed no earlier than 8 days after the last injection of drugs. The meat of animals that were forcedly killed before the expiration of the specified periods is used for feeding fur animals.
Milk obtained from animals during the period of application of the drugs and before the expiration of 4 days after the last administration of the drug shall not be used for food purposes. Such milk can be used to feed animals.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
A contraindication to the use of the drug Tylosin is the increased individual sensitivity of animals to tylosin.
The simultaneous use of the drug Tylosin with tiamulin, clindamycin, chloramphenicol, penicillins (especially with ampicillin and oxacillin), cephalosporins and lincomycin is not recommended due to a pronounced decrease in the antibacterial effect of tylosin.
SIDE EFFECTS
When using the drug in accordance with this instruction, side effects and complications, as a rule, are not observed. In pigs, allergic reactions are possible in the form of mild edema with a slight prolapse of the rectum, erythema, itching and respiratory symptoms, which disappear after stopping the use of Tylosin.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
Shelf life, subject to storage conditions in a closed manufacturer's packaging, is 2 years from the date of production, after opening the bottle - 28 days. Store Tylosin in the manufacturer's sealed packaging, separately from food and feed, in a place protected from direct sunlight at a temperature of 10 В° C to 25 В° C.

The drug is produced in the form of a 5% sterile injection solution packaged in 100 ml each in glass vials of appropriate capacity, hermetically sealed with rubber stoppers and reinforced with aluminum caps with clips for the first opening control.
