Tylosin 200 injection 100ml

DESCRIPTION

Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic specially developed for animals, produced by Streptomyces fradiae.

COMPOSITION

Tylosin 200 contains as an active substance tylosin tartrate 200000 mcg / ml, auxiliary components - benzyl alcohol - 0.04 ml, propanediol 1.2 - 0.5 ml and water for injection up to 1 ml. In appearance it is a sterile, transparent, with high viscosity, yellowish liquid.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

It acts bacteriostatically on a microbial cell, suppressing protein synthesis. Effective against the majority of gram-positive and some gram-negative bacteria: E. coli, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Bacillus anthracis, Corynebacterium, Clostridium, Pasteurella, Erysipelothrix, Fusobacterium, Spirochaetes, Leptospira, Chlamycoplasma, pylamyophilus, Serpulina hyodyodyody, , Moraxella bovis, Neisseria.

When administered intramuscularly, tylosin quickly enters the bloodstream and penetrates into almost all organs and tissues, reaching its maximum concentration 1 hour after administration. The highest levels of tylosin are found in the lungs, intestinal wall, liver, mammary gland and kidneys. After a single injection, the therapeutic concentration of tylosin remains in the blood serum for at least 20 hours. Tylosin is excreted from the body mainly in bile, in smaller quantities in urine and milk.

APPLICATION

Tylosin 200 is used to treat:

bronchopneumonia of cattle and small ruminants, pigs, dogs and cats;

enzootic pneumonia, arthritis, dysentery, atrophic rhinitis and swine erysipelas;

infectious agalactia of sheep and goats;

bovine mastitis;

for the prevention and treatment of secondary infections in viral diseases.

The drug is administered to animals strictly intramuscularly once a day for no more than 3-4 days, changing the injection site during subsequent injections, in the following doses:

SIDE EFFECTS

In pigs, allergic reactions are possible in the form of edema of the rectum and vulva, diarrhea, itching and erythema on the skin, which disappear after the drug is discontinued. Overdose may cause shock in piglets.

Tylosin 200 can cause local reactions accompanied by hemorrhages, necrosis, swelling in cases of overdose or when the injection sites do not change.

In cattle, respiration and heart rate may increase.

Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed no earlier than 8 days after the last injection of tylosin. The meat of animals that were forcedly killed before the expiration of the specified period can be used for feeding carnivores or preparing meat and bone meal. Milk obtained from animals during the period of tylosin administration and before the expiration of 4 days after the last administration of the drug should not be used for food purposes. Such milk can be used to feed animals.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Tylosin is not allowed in 200 horses. It is not allowed to use Tylosin 200 in females during lactation, whose milk is intended for food.

The simultaneous use of Tylosin 200 with tiamulin, clindamycin, chloramphenicol, penicillins (especially with ampicillin and oxacillin), cephalosporins and lincomycin is not recommended due to a pronounced decrease in the antibacterial effect of tylosin.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

It is not recommended to inject more than 5 ml of the drug into pigs, and 10 ml of the drug in cattle in one place and mix it with other drugs in the same syringe.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

The drug should be stored in a dry, dark place out of the reach of children at a temperature of 10 В° C to 25 В° C. Shelf life is 2 years. Do not use Tylosin 200 after the expiration date.

Tylosin is produced 100 ml in the form of a sterile injection solution, packaged in dark glass vials, sealed with rubber stoppers, reinforced with aluminum caps.
