Pharmacological action

Turpentine ointment - a herbal remedy. It has a local irritating and distracting effect, which are achieved due to excitation of skin receptors and local release of biologically active substances (including histamine). It also has an antiseptic effect.

Indications

As an aid for rheumatic pains, arthralgia, neuralgia, myalgia, lumbar ischialgia.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug,

impaired integrity or inflammatory diseases of the skin at the site of the intended application,

pregnancy and lactation.

Precautions: Hepatic and / or renal failure, childhood.

Composition

100 g ointment for external use: contains: turpentine gum (purified turpentine oil) 20.0 g

excipients: petrolatum, purified water

Dosage and administration

Turpentine ointment is applied externally. Rubbed the affected or painful areas 1-3 times a day
