DESCRIPTION

Tsunami Super rodenticide is a ready-to-use, paraffin-containing testograin bait (briquette) of blue or other bright color.

COMPOSITION

Contains as an active ingredient (DV) brodifacum in an amount of 0.005%, as well as bitrex (bitter component), which protects the bait from being eaten by birds and reduces the risk of accidental poisoning of people and non-target species of animals, dye, flavor, antioxidant, paraffin, attractant and food base (flour, grain).

PROPERTIES

The agent has a high rodenticidal activity for rats and mice: the eatability of the bait is: 35.97% of the daily diet of rats and 44.09% of mice. The death of rats and mice is 100% and occurs on days 7-12. (8.7 days on average) for rats and 4-7 days. (5.5 days on average) for mice.

The active ingredient - brodifacum - belongs to the I class of extremely hazardous substances according to GOST 12.1.007-76. LD50 = 0.42 - 0.56 mg / kg when injected into the stomach of rats; mice - 0.4 mg / kg. When applied to the skin of rabbits, the LD50 is 0.25-0.62 mg / kg; rats - 3.2 - 5.2 mg / kg. It has a pronounced cumulative effect (Kkum. <1), when reapplied to the skin, it exhibits a skin-resorptive effect, local irritating properties are weakly expressed.

According to the parameters of acute toxicity when administered into the stomach, Tsunami Super belongs to the IV class of low-hazard drugs according to the Classification of toxicity and hazard of rodenticides. Has a pronounced cumulative effect: Kkum. <1 - I class of highly hazardous substances. Local irritant and skin-resorptive effect was not revealed. When rats and mice enter the body, an anticoagulant effect is manifested: a violation of blood clotting with the manifestation of bleeding and hemorrhage.

FOOTWEAR of brodifacum in the air of the working area - 0.001 mg / m3 (aerosol), class I hazard, with a mark, protection of the skin is required.

PURPOSE

The product is intended for the destruction of rats and mice by professional workers at objects of various categories: in residential and non-residential buildings, underground structures, basements, cellars, sewers, as well as in the back rooms of food, children's (in places inaccessible to children) and medical institutions by the personnel of organizations, having the right to engage in disinfection activities, and the population in everyday life.

MODE OF APPLICATION

The product is placed in previously identified habitats of rodents: along walls, partitions, near burrows, laying out in dry places under shelters (cabinets, equipment, etc.) in adapted containers (bait boxes, drainage pipes, trays, boxes, etc.) or in special containers. The latter are preferable because increase the eatability of the product, preventing it from being taken away by rodents, and also complicate access to the bait for non-target species of animals.

The agent is laid out entirely in 50-100 g from rats and 20-30 g from mice.

The distance between the bait placement points is 2-15 m, depending on the clutter of the premises and the number of rodents. Portions of baits from mice are laid out more often than from rats, placing them throughout the entire volume of the premises.

The product (due to the paraffin content) can be on the object for a long time. The laid out bait is examined for the first 1-2 days after laying, and then with an interval of 1 week. The portions eaten are replaced with new ones. Portions left untouched by rats or mice for more than a week are transferred to other places visited by rodents.

Contaminated or spoiled bait is replaced with a new one. The work is carried out until the disappearance of rodents.

The corpses of rodents, and at the end of the work - the remains of the bait and containers from under it are collected for subsequent burial.

The bait can be left in places favorable for habitat and movement of rodents in order to prevent their possible introduction and increase in numbers. In this case, observations must be carried out at least 2 times a month.

PRECAUTIONS

In accordance with the 'Rules for labor protection of disinfection workers', Sanitary Rules (SP) 3.5.3.1129-02 and order of the Ministry of Health of the Medical Industry of Russia No. 90 dated 03.14.1996, persons who have undergone special instructions are allowed to work with the product, at least 18 years old and not suffering from blood and liver diseases.

In accordance with SP 3.5.3.1129-02: all manipulations with the agent should be carried out in overalls and rubber gloves, avoiding contact with the mouth, eyes and skin; the product is laid out with special tweezers or with hands protected with rubber gloves; when working with the product, it is forbidden to smoke, drink, eat; after work, wash your hands with warm water and soap. the product in the places of its layout should be inaccessible to children and pets; the management and personnel of the processed object should be informed about the presence of rodenticide at the object, the degree of its toxicity and the necessary precautions; the places where the product is laid out should be numbered, which allows them to control and carefully remove the remains of the decomposed bait after the end of the deratization work; disposal is carried out in accordance with the existing legislation, the rules of which are set out in the document: Sanitary and Epidemiological Requirements for Deratization (SanPin 3.5.3.1129-02, clause 5.7.). The collected corpses of rodents and the remains of the product must be buried in the ground to a depth of at least 0.5 m (away from water bodies and water supply sources) or burned in the open air or in a boiler room. It is forbidden to throw the remains of the bait into trash cans and water bodies.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

Store the product in a dry, covered warehouse in a closed container, at a temperature not lower than minus 20 В° C and not higher than plus 40 В° C, separately from food, feed and fodder under strict control and taking into account the arrival and consumption.

Shelf life - 2 years in unopened manufacturer's packaging.
