DESCRIPTION

Tsunami Rodenticide is a ready-to-use food grade grain bait in the form of a soft briquette of red or other bright color.

COMPOSITION

Contains bromadiolone - 0.005% as an active ingredient (DV), as well as bitrex (a bitter component), which protects baits from being eaten by birds and reduces the risk of accidental poisoning of people and non-target species of animals, a dye, flavor, antioxidant, paraffin, attractant and food base ( flour, grain).

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

The agent has high rodenticidal activity for rats and mice: the eatability of the bait is: 24.5% of the daily diet of rats and 43.5% of mice. The death of rats and mice is 100% and occurs on days 7-14. (10.5 days on average) rats and 5-6 days. (5.7 days on average) - mice.

The active ingredient - bromadiolone - belongs to the 1st class of extremely hazardous substances according to GOST 12.1.007-76; for cats and pigs - up to grade 2, for birds - up to grade 3. When injected into the stomach of rats DL50 - 1.125 mg / kg, with inhalation (4 hours for rats) LC50 ~ 50 mg / m3. In terms of acute toxicity when applied to the skin of rabbits, it belongs to the 2nd class of highly hazardous substances (DL50 ~ 400 mg / kg), but does not have a local irritant effect. Slightly irritating to the mucous membrane of the eyes of rabbits. In an acute experiment, when introduced into the stomach, it is most toxic to target species (rats, mice) and less to non-target species (dog, cat, pig). Poultry (chickens) are highly susceptible to the substance (DL50 - 5 mg / kg). In this regard, caution is required when exterminating rodents on poultry farms, especially in chicken coops, and when breeding rabbits.

According to the parameters of acute toxicity when administered to the stomach of rats and mice and applied to the skin, the Tsunami agent belongs to the 4th class of low-hazard agents according to the Classification of toxicity and hazard of rodenticides. The species sensitivity of the rat-mouse is poorly expressed (EHF = 1.5). With a single exposure to a vapor, the funds belong to the 4th class of low-hazard substances due to the low volatility of bromadiolone. According to the limiting indicator of rodenticide toxicity - cumulation - the agent belongs to the 1st class of extremely hazardous substances (Kkum. <15); has a pronounced skin-resorptive effect; local irritant - mild.

FOOTWEAR in the air of the working area of the active substance - bromadiolone - 0.001 mg / m3 (aerosol) - 1 hazard class with a mark required to protect the skin.

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

The latter are preferable because increase the eatability of the product, preventing it from being taken away by rodents, and also complicate access to the bait for non-target species of animals.

The agent is laid out in 50-100 g from rats and 20-30 g from mice.

The distance between the bait placement points is 2-15 m, depending on the clutter of the premises and the number of rodents. Portions of baits from mice are laid out more often than from rats, placing them throughout the entire volume of the premises.

The product (due to the paraffin content) can be on the object for a long time.

The laid out bait is examined for the first 1-2 days after laying, and then with an interval of 1 week. The portions eaten are replaced with new ones. Portions left untouched by rats or mice for more than a week are transferred to other places visited by rodents.

Contaminated or spoiled bait is replaced with a new one. Work continues until the disappearance of rodents.

The corpses of rodents, and at the end of the work - the remains of the bait and containers from under it are collected for subsequent burial.
