pharmachologic effect
Troxerutin Vramed has a venotonic, angioprotective, anti-inflammatory, decongestant, antioxidant effect. Flanoid (a derivative of rutin), has P-vitamin activity
has a venotonic, angioprotective, anti-inflammatory and anti-edema effect.
Its pharmacodipamic properties are associated with the participation of troxerutin bioflavonoids in redox processes and inhibition of hyaluronidase.
By inhibiting hyaluronidase, troxerutin stabilizes the hyaluronic acid of the cell membranes and reduces the permeability and fragility of capillaries, increases their tone.
It has antioxidant activity, as a result of which it prevents the oxidation of ascorbic acid, adrenaline and lipids.
Prevents damage to the basement membrane of endothelial cells when exposed to various factors.
Troxerutin reduces exudative inflammation in the vascular wall, limiting the adhesion of platelets to its surface.
As a result of treatment with troxerutin, the feeling of heaviness in the legs disappears, tissue edema decreases, and trophism improves.
Indications
Chronic venous insufficiency with manifestations such as static heaviness in the legs, leg ulcers, trophic skin lesions
varicose veins, superficial thrombophlebitis, periflebitis, phlebothrombosis, varicose dermatitis, post-thrombotic syndrome, hemorrhoids, post-traumatic edema and hematomas, hemorrhagic diathesis with increased capillary permeability, capillary toxicosis (including with measles, scarlet fever) retinopathy, vascular side effects of radiation therapy
as a prophylactic agent after vein surgery.
Application during pregnancy and lactation
Contraindicated in the first trimester of pregnancy and during breastfeeding, in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, it can be used only as directed by a doctor.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, chronic gastritis (in the acute phase).
Side effects
Allergic reactions (skin rash), erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract, headache.
How to take, course of administration and dosage
Troxerutin Vramed is taken orally, with meals, 1 capsule 2-3 times a day.
For maintenance treatment - 1 capsule per day for 3-4 weeks.
