DESCRIPTION

Trocyl-K is an anthelmintic drug for cats.

COMPOSITION

One tablet contains 20 mg of praziquantel and 230 mg of pyrantelembonate.

BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Troncil-K causes suppression of enzyme activity in helminths, increases the permeability of cell membranes for mono- and divalent cations and carbohydrates, causes disruption of the integrity of the body membrane and contracture of the muscles of parasites, which leads to paralysis and death of helminths and promotes their removal from the intestine. Acts at all stages of development of round and tapeworms: Toxocara cati, Ancylostoma braziliense, Echinococcus granulosus, Dipylidium caninum, Echinococcus multilocularis, Taenia spp., Mesocestoides spp., Joyeuxiella spp.

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

Troncil-K is used for deworming cats against ascaris and other nematodes, tape helminths from 3 weeks of age. The drug is given to animals once in the following doses:

up to 1 kg 1/4 tablet

from 1 to 2 kg 1/2 tablet

from 2 to 3 kg 3/4 tablet

from 3 to 4 kg 1 tablet

from 4 to 5 kg 1 and 1/4 tablets

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Diet and fasting are not required before treatment.

The drug is given forcibly or with feed, placing the tablet in a piece of meat, cheese or sausage.

In order to prevent helminthiasis, the drug is used once every 3 months in the same dose as in the treatment.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Troncil-K has no contraindications for use, does not cause side effects and complications when used correctly.

SIDE EFFECTS

When using the vaccine in accordance with this instruction, side effects and complications, as a rule, are not noted. A rapidly disappearing swelling may appear at the injection site. In case of manifestation in some animals of allergic reactions to the administration of the vaccine, antihistamines are used.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

Store Troncil-K in a sealed original packaging in a cool dry room at a temperature of 0 to 20 В° C, inaccessible to unauthorized persons (list B). Shelf life is 5 years.

Troncil-K is produced in contour blisters of 4 pieces, plastic containers or glass bottles of 2-20 tablets per package.
