Triolact syringe-tube 5ml
DESCRIPTION
Triolact (Triolaktum) is a veterinary drug for the treatment of bacterial mastitis in cows during lactation. The drug is a white oily suspension.
COMPOSITION
1 ml of the drug contains active ingredients: amoxicillin - 26.7 mg / ml (in the form of amoxicillin trihydrate), cloxatsallin - 44.5 mr / ml (in the form of cloxacillin sodium salt), prednisolone - 2.67 mg / ml and auxiliary substances: distilled moiolycerides, emulsifier 1 g, vaseline oil - 1 ml.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Triolact refers to combined antibacterial drugs.
The combination of semi-synthetic antibiotics of the penicillin group - amoxicillin and cloxacillin - which is part of the triolact, has a wide spectrum of bactericidal action against gram-positive - Staphylococcus spp. (including those resistant to the action of benzylpenicillin), Streptococcus spp. (including Str. agalactiae, Str. dysagafactiae, Str. uberis), C / ostridium spp., Corynebacte, iС€n spp. and gram-negative bacteria - Haemophilus spp., Esche-richia coli, Salmone / la spp., Prote11s spp.
The mechanism of antibacterial action. amoxicillia and cloxacillin is to suppress the functional activity of bacterial transpeptidase enzymes involved in the binding of the main component of the cell wall of microorganisms - cloxacillin, which interferes with the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall and leads to disruption of the osmotic balance and death of bacteria.
Intracisternal administration of triolact allows to provide bactericidal concentrations of active substances in the affected quarter of the udder for 12 hours.
Triolact, according to the degree of impact on the body, belongs to low-hazard substances (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76), in recommended doses it does not have a local irritating effect on breast tissue.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
Triolact is used in cows during lactation to treat mastitis of bacterial etiology.
Triolact is injected intracisternally, 5 ml (1 syringe-dispenser) into the affected quarter of the udder 3-6 times (depending on the severity of the disease) with an interval of 12 hours.
Before the introduction of the drug, the sore of the sick quarter of the udder is milked out, and the nipple is disinfected with 70% ethyl alcohol or a special antiseptic napkin.
Before use, the triolate is heated to 36-39 В° C and shaken.
When using a syringe-dispenser, its cannula is inserted into the nipple canal and the preparation is carefully squeezed into the affected lobe of the udder. After the injection, the syringe-dispenser is taken out and the nipple is pinched with fingers for 1-2 minutes. Then the udder is gently massaged from bottom to top to better distribute the preparation. From the bottle, the drug is collected with a sterile syringe and injected into the nipple of the affected quarter of the udder using a sterile catheter.
