pharmachologic effect
Antibiotic of the aminoglycoside group for topical use in otorhinolaryngology. Possesses a wide spectrum of antibacterial action. It has a bactericidal effect. It is active against a number of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Framycetin resistance develops slowly and to a small extent.
Pharmacokinetics
When applied topically, it has a low systemic absorption.
Side effect
In rare cases, possible: allergic skin reactions, the development of superinfection (when used for more than 10 days).

Adequate safety studies during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding) have not been conducted.
