Drops for oral administration are taken undiluted, holding in the mouth for a while before swallowing. In the acute period of the development of the disease: Adults: 25 drops 5-6 times a day.
School-age children (over 6 years old): 15 drops 5-6 times a day.
Preschool children (over 1 year old): 10 drops 5-6 times a day.
After the disappearance of acute symptoms of the disease (sore throat), treatment with the drug should be continued for another 1 week.
After the disappearance of acute symptoms: Adults: 25 drops, 3 times a day. School-age children (over 6 years old): 15 drops, 3 times a day. Preschool children (over 1 year old): 10 drops, 3 times a day.
Drops for oral administration in the form of a clear or slightly turbid liquid, yellowish-brown in color, with a characteristic odor; possible precipitation of a slight sediment during storage.

Pharmacological properties
Pharmacological properties are due to biologically active substances that make up the drug. TonsilgonЃ N has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. The active components of chamomile, marshmallow and horsetail, which make up the preparation, help to increase the activity of nonspecific factors of the body's defense. Polysaccharides, essential oils and flavonoids of chamomile, marshmallow and yarrow, tannins of oak bark have an anti-inflammatory effect and help to reduce swelling of the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract.
Application during pregnancy and lactation
The use of the drug is possible if the potential benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus and child. Doctor's advice is required
Side effects
From the gastrointestinal tract are possible: nausea, vomiting. Allergic reactions are possible. If signs of an allergic reaction appear, you should stop taking the drug.
Overdose

The content of ethyl alcohol in the preparation is from 16.0 to 19.5% (in volume ratio). In the maximum single dose (25 drops), the content of absolute ethyl alcohol is 0.21 g; in the maximum daily dose (25 drops 6 times a day) - 1.26 g. If, when using the drug for 7 days, the symptoms of the disease persist or the patient's condition worsens, you should consult a doctor. During storage of the drug, slight turbidity or slight precipitation may occur, which does not affect the effectiveness of the drug. Shake the drug before use! When using the bottle, keep it upright.
Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and work with mechanisms
During the period of use of the drug, care should be taken when driving vehicles and engaging in other potentially hazardous activities that require an increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (due to the content of ethyl alcohol in the drug).
