Into the conjunctival sac.
1 drop of Tobrex 2X 2 times a day (morning and evening) for a week.
In the case of the development of an acute severe infectious process on the first day, the drug is instilled 1 drop 4 times a day, then 1 drop 2 times a day until the end of the course of treatment. Turn the closed bottle over and shake once before each use. There is no need to shake the bottle more than once.

Hypersensitivity to tobramycin and other aminoglycosides.
pharmachologic effect
An antibiotic of the aminoglycoside group of a broad spectrum of action. It has a bactericidal effect, disrupting protein synthesis and the permeability of the cytoplasmic membrane of bacteria. Highly active against Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Tobramycin is active against gram-negative bacteria: Escherichia coli, Proteus spp. (indole-positive and indole-negative strains), Klebsiella spp., Serratia spp., Providencia spp., Enterobacter spp., Shigella spp., Salmonella spp., Citrobacter spp., Haemophilus influenzae; gram-positive bacteria: Staphylococcus spp. (including strains producing penicillinase). Low activity against Streptococcus spp. (including Enterococcus spp.).
Side effect
From the side of the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system: ototoxic effect, headache, lethargy, disorientation, impaired neuromuscular transmission. From the digestive system: nausea, vomiting, increased levels of hepatic transaminases and bilirubin in the blood. From the hematopoietic system: anemia, granulocytopenia, thrombocytopenia. Local reactions: pain at the injection site. From the side of metabolism: hypocalcemia, hyponatremia, hypokalemia, hypomagnesemia. Others: possible nephrotoxic effect, allergic reactions.
Application during pregnancy and lactation
The use of tobramycin is possible when the expected benefits of treatment for the mother outweighs the risk of side effects in the fetus.
Application for impaired renal function
Systemic use of tobramycin is possible when the expected benefit of treatment outweighs the risk of side effects in patients with impaired renal function.

Systemic use of tobramycin is possible when the intended benefit of treatment outweighs the risk of side effects in the following cases: in patients with impaired renal function, hearing impairment, with myasthenia gravis and parkinsonism.
Drug interactions
With the combined use of tobramycin with furosemide and ethacrynic acid, an increase in the ototoxic effect is possible; with other aminoglycosides, polypeptide antibiotics, some cephalosporins - an increase in the nephrotoxic effect of tobramycin is possible; with muscle relaxants - it is possible to enhance their muscle-relaxing effect.
