Indications

Composition

100 ml syrup contain:

Active substances: liquid thyme herb extract - 15 g (ratio thyme herbs to extractant 1: 2 - 2.5). Extractant: Ammonia solution 10% (w / w) glycerol 85%, ethanol 90% (v / v) water in a ratio of 1: 20: 70: 109.

Excipients: sodium benzoate, rose oil, honey flavor, cherry flavor (concentrated cherry juice), invert sugar syrup (sucrose, dextrose, fructose), liquid dextrose (liquid glucose), sugar syrup 67% (sucrose), citric acid monohydrate , purified water.

Dosage and Administration

Inside, after meals. If the doctor has not prescribed another dosing regimen, for adults and adolescents - 2 teaspoons of syrup (10 ml) 3 times a day for children 6-12 years old - 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 3 times a day for 2-6 years - 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 2 times a day for 1-2 years - 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) 3 times a day for 6-12 months - 1/2 teaspoon (2 5 ml) 2 times a day.

Cough syrup should be taken at regular intervals throughout the day.

The duration of the drug is determined by the therapeutic need and duration of the disease.

Side effects

Allergic reactions: skin rash urticaria angioedema of the face and mucous membrane of the oral cavity and pharynx (Quincke's edema). In this case, you must stop taking the drug and consult a doctor.

Drug Interaction

It is not recommended to use concurrently with antitussive drugs as well as with drugs that reduce phlegm formation, as this makes it difficult to clear out the liquefied phlegm.

Overdose
