Pharmacological action, stress-relieving drug refers to the drug, it is an anotropic drug. It improves the oxygen supply of myocardial tissues, normalizes the disturbed electrolyte balance of the blood, the content of potassium ions in plasma, erythrocytes and myocardial cells enhances protein synthesis and increases the energy resources of the cell.
Regulates disturbed night sleep without providing direct sleeping pills. It does not have anticholinergic and muscle relaxant effect, does not violate the coordination of movements. Facilitates or relieves nicotine withdrawal symptoms.
Contraindications
Mebicar is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, as well as for women in the first trimester of pregnancy.
Special instructions
Mebicar should not be taken while drivers of vehicles and people whose activities are associated with increased concentration of attention.
Composition
The active substance is mebicar, 500 mg in 1 tablet. Excipients: calcium stearate and povidone (high molecular weight polyvinylpyrrolidone).
Dosage and administration of
The drug is taken orally, eating does not affect its effectiveness. 1-3 tablets are prescribed 2-3 times a day, for smoking - 2-3 tablets 3 times a day, for alcoholics - 5-7 tablets per day, to improve the tolerance of tranquilizers and antipsychotics - 3-12 tablets per day. The most admissible doses of mebicar: single - 3000 mg, daily - 10 000 mg. The preventive and treatment course can last from several days to 3 months and depend on the indications and severity of the patient's condition. Mental illness treatment can last up to 6 months. Healthy people with mild situational disorders need a single dose of the drug.
Side effects
When using Mebikar in high doses, dyspeptic disorders, a short-term insignificant decrease in blood pressure, a slight increase in body temperature (by 1-1.5? C) are possible. Low blood pressure and high body temperature normalize on their own and do not require discontinuation of the drug. The likelihood of developing allergic reactions is not excluded.
Drug Interactions
Mebikar enhances the effects of narcotic drugs and sleeping pills.
Storage conditions
