DESCRIPTION

Rodenticidal agent Testox-Extra is a ready-to-use food bait in the form of red dough cakes or tablets. The agent has a high rodenticidal activity for rats and mice: the eatability of the bait is: 46.7% of the daily diet of mice and 15.98% for rats. The death of rats and mice was 100 and 90%, respectively, occurred on days 4-8 (6.4 days on average) in rats and on days 4-6 (on average for 4.6 days) in mice.

COMPOSITION

Contains 0.01% chlorfasinone as an active substance (DV), as well as an attractant, a red dye, a food base and bitrex (a bitter component), which protects the bait from being eaten by domestic animals.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

The active substance - chlorfasinone - belongs to the 1st class of extremely hazardous substances according to the Classification of toxicity and hazard of rodenticides. DL50 - 7.1 and 3.1 mg / kg when administered into the stomach of black and gray rats; mice - 250 mg / kg. It has a pronounced cumulative effect (Kkum <1). Does not possess skin-resorptive, local irritating and sensitizing effects.

According to the parameters of acute toxicity when administered into the stomach, Tetox-Extra belongs to the 4th class of low-hazard drugs according to the Classification of toxicity and hazard of rodenticides. When rats and mice enter the body, an anticoagulant effect is manifested: a violation of blood coagulability with the manifestation of bleeding and hemorrhage.

PURPOSE

Means Testoks-Extra is designed to combat rats (gray and black) and house mice by specialists of organizations entitled to engage in disinfection activities, as well as the population in everyday life. It is used in urban and rural areas at objects and in premises of various types and purposes, in undeveloped areas and in personal subsidiary plots.

MODE OF APPLICATION

The bait is placed in places where traces of the vital activity of rodents (gnaws, droppings) are found: on the paths of movement, along walls, partitions, near holes. Laying out in dry places under shelters in adapted containers or in special containers.

The bait is laid out at 20-25 g when treated from rats and 10-20 g from mice. If this amount of bait is eaten, then it turns out to be enough for the complete death of rodents.

The distance between the points of the layout of the bait is 2-5 m, depending on the clutter of the premises and the number of rodents.

PRECAUTIONS

Persons at least 18 years of age who have undergone special instructions and do not suffer from blood and liver diseases are allowed to work with the product in accordance with Order No. 90 of the Ministry of Health of Russia dated 03.14.96 and the Rules for Labor Protection of Disinfection Workers. When working, avoid swallowing the product, contact with the mouth, eyes and skin. Observe the rules of personal hygiene: do not smoke or eat. Work in overalls (rubber gloves, dressing gown). Packing should be carried out in premises designated for this purpose with efficient exchange ventilation or a fume hood. Contaminated overalls are soaked in a soap and soda solution for 5 - 6 hours, followed by washing. Hands should be washed with warm water and soap.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

Shelf life - 2 years in unopened manufacturer's packaging. Store the product in a dry covered warehouse in a closed package at temperatures from minus 20 to plus 40, separately from feed and fodder.
