Instructions
Storage and handling:
Test strips must be used within 90 days after opening the bottle or before the expiration date indicated on the package.
Shelf life is valid when stored at 5-30 ° C (41-86 ° F).
Application:
Open the Triglycerides multiCare-in test strip container and take out the yellow code chip.
Insert the code chip into the special hole on the side of the device.
Open the vial, remove the test strip and close the vial immediately.
Insert the test strip into the test strip slot on the meter, with the arrows pointing towards the meter.
An acoustic signal ("beep") will sound.
The TGL symbol and Code should appear on the instrument display.
Check that the Symbol and Code shown on the display match the Symbol and Code printed on the label of the test strip vial.
Wash your hands with warm water while massaging the finger you are about to pierce to increase blood flow.
Relax and lower your arm down along your body for about 1 minute.
Pierce your finger with a sterile lancet lancing device.
Wipe off the first drop of blood with sterile gauze and gently squeeze the tip of your finger to obtain a second drop of blood (10 microliters).
Touch the drop of blood to the white circle of the portion of the test strip protruding from the meter.
The test strip will automatically draw the correct amount of blood.
