Side effect

Local reactions: infrequently - temporary irritation. When using the drug for more than 2 weeks, a reversible brown discoloration of the tongue or teeth may be observed.

Allergic reactions: in isolated cases - urticaria, facial edema, laryngeal edema.

Application during pregnancy and lactation

TeraFluЃ LAR is contraindicated for use during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding).

Clinical experience with the drug during pregnancy is very limited.

There is no clinical data on the excretion of active substances in breast milk.

In experimental studies, no effect of the drug on reproductive function and fetal development was found.

Application in children

Contraindicated: children under 4 years of age.

During the use of TeraFluЃ LAR, alcohol should be avoided.

Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms

Overdose

Symptoms: if you accidentally take the drug (like other ammonium compounds) in high doses, nausea and vomiting are possible. The content of lidocaine in the preparation is insignificant and cannot cause serious symptoms of overdose.

Treatment: it is recommended to drink milk or eat egg white, whipped in water.

Drug interactions

The effectiveness of benzoxonium chloride decreases with the concomitant use of anionically active agents, such as toothpaste.

Ethanol increases the absorption of benzoxonium chloride.
