Tealoz solution ophthalmic moisturizing 3%, 10ml

Discomfort of the organ of vision:

• sensation of dry eyes (burning, irritation).

Fatigue of the organ of vision due to the influence of environmental factors:

• wind, dust, smoke, air pollution,

• dry air from heaters and air conditioners,

• air travel,

• long-term work at the computer,

• wearing contact lenses.

The drug is supplied in a plastic multi-dose bottle of the ABAC system. This patented system is characterized by the introduction of eye drops, previously passed through a special membrane filter, which prevents any bacterial contamination of the solution.

The vial contains 300 drops of a solution that has a neutral pH value, without the addition of preservatives, due to which, as a rule, it is easily tolerated during use.
Contraindications Tealoz is applied to each eye one drop at a time, the procedure can be repeated throughout the day, if necessary. The solution is safe to use with contact lenses inserted.

Instructions for use:

• Wash hands thoroughly before use.

• Do not touch the tip of the bottle to the surface of the lenses, especially if there is a suspicion of eye infection.

• Introduce 1 drop of the solution into the conjunctival cavity, slightly pulling the lower eyelid to the knee, while lifting the eyes up. After finishing the procedure, close the bottle tightly.

• Do not use for injection or ingestion.

• Do not use if its protective ring is damaged.

Thealose is a sterile, isotonic solution with no added preservatives and a neutral pH. Trehalose is the main component of the drug, a substance of natural origin that is present in the organisms of many animals and plants that can survive in an extremely dry environment.

Trehalose has physicochemical characteristics that provide protective, antioxidant and moisturizing properties. This makes it an important link in the anhydrobiotic mechanism observed in certain microorganisms (slowing down the metabolism, allowing them to survive in extreme conditions of dehydration).

Trehalose has properties that protect and stabilize the cell membrane by preventing protein modification as well as lipid damage. At the same time, it also exhibits antioxidant functions.
Thealose is produced without preservatives and can be used while wearing contact lenses.

Interaction

When prescribing several ophthalmic drugs locally at once, Tealoz must be instilled with an interval of 10 minutes with other means.
