Sudocrem is a skin care cream for diaper dermatitis. The cream helps protect, soothe and restore your baby's delicate skin from irritation. The water-repellent base of Sudocrem forms a protective barrier, preventing contact of irritating substances (urine and feces) with the skin. In addition, Sudocrem's emollient action helps soothe sensitive, inflamed skin, leaving it soft.
Sudocrem can also be used for other types of skin irritation, when you need a soothing, protective, restorative cream that has additional healing, antibacterial and antifungal properties.
Sudocrem can be used for:
bedsores and incontinence dermatitis;
minor thermal burns;
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Application during pregnancy and lactation
No contraindications known.
The cream is for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
The cream contains:
Active substances: distilled water, liquid paraffin, zinc oxide, solid paraffin, lanolin (hypoallergenic), microcrystalline paraffin, sorbitan sequioleate, benzyl benzoate, synthetic wax, benzyl alcohol, linalyl acetate, propylene glycol, benzyl cinnamic acid, citric acid
Method of administration and dosage
Apply with every diaper change or as needed.
For other skin lesions (eczema; bedsores and incontinence dermatitis; acne (pimples); minor thermal burns; superficial wounds; sunburn; frostbite) apply a thin layer of the cream.
The general rule is to rub the cream in small circular motions until the Sudocrem disappears, leaving a clear film. If this film does not cover the affected area, apply some more cream. However, if the treated area remains white, it means that you have applied too much cream. Indications for use in adults, children and the elderly do not differ.
Store at room temperature out of the reach of children.
