DESCRIPTION
Stop-itch suspension (Stop-itch suspension) - suspension for oral use for cats in the treatment of skin diseases of inflammatory and allergic etiology.
COMPOSITION
1 ml contains triamcinolone - 1 mg, pyridoxine hydrochloride - 2 mg, riboflavin - 4 mg, nicotinamide - 10 mg, methionine - 20 mg, succinic acid - 2 mg, as well as auxiliary substances carboxymethyl cellulose - 1.5 mg , tween-80 - 6 mg, sodium benzoate - 1.5 mg, potassium sorbate - 1.5 mg, cyclamate, aspartame, saccharin - 1 mg each, xanthan gum - 2 mg, glycerin - 50 mg and distilled water - up to 1 ml.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Stop - Itching Suspension refers to combined anti-inflammatory drugs.
Triamcinolone, which is part of the drug, is a synthetic glucocorticoid, has a pronounced anti-inflammatory and desensitizing effect. Its mechanism of action is to block the release of inflammatory mediators by eosinophils, including prostaglandins, which potentiate the inflammatory process, stimulate the biosynthesis of lipocartins with anti-edematous activity, reduce the number of mast cells that produce hyaluronic acid, and reduce capillary permeability.
Group B vitamins (PP, B6, B2), succinic acid and methionine improve metabolism, accelerate tissue regeneration, and help restore the functional state of the skin.
Stop - itching, the suspension, according to the degree of exposure to the body, belongs to low-hazard substances (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76).
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
Stop-itching suspension for dogs and cats is prescribed for the treatment of inflammatory and allergic skin diseases (atopic dermatitis, eczema, diffuse neurodermatitis, scratching, alopecia, reactions to insect bites).
Stop - itching, the suspension is administered orally to animals in the morning with a small amount of feed or is injected forcibly using a syringe dispenser once a day, in the following daily doses:

The first 4 days the drug is used in a therapeutic dose, the next 8 days - in a dose of 1/2 of the therapeutic dose. The course of treatment can be extended at the discretion of the attending veterinarian.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
In case of an overdose in an animal, depression and vomiting are possible.
At the first use of the drug, in rare cases, the animal has a rapidly passing hypersalivation.
Avoid skipping the next dose of the drug, as this can lead to a decrease in effectiveness. If one dose is missed, the use of the drug is resumed in the same dosage and according to the same scheme.
Stop - itching suspension is not recommended for dogs and cats concurrently with other drugs containing corticosteroid hormones.
The Stop Pruritus Suspension is not intended for use in productive animals.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
A contraindication to the use of Stop Itching is the increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug (including in the anamnesis), viral diseases and diabetes.
It is not recommended to use the drug for pregnant and lactating bitches and cats.
SIDE EFFECTS
When using the drug in accordance with this instruction, side effects and complications in animals, as a rule, are not observed. In some animals, with increased individual sensitivity, depression, salivation, and gastrointestinal tract disorders are possible. In these cases, the use of the drug is discontinued and, if necessary, symptomatic agents are prescribed.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
The shelf life of the drug, subject to storage conditions, is 2 years from the date of production. It is prohibited to use Stop - itching suspension after the expiration date.
Store the drug in the manufacturer's packaging, in a dry, dark place, separate from food and feed, at a temperature from 0 В° C to 25 В° C.
