DESCRIPTION
Stop Itching Spray - a solution for external use in the form of a slightly opalescent liquid of light yellow color.
COMPOSITION
1 ml of solution contains 0.5 ml of triamcinolone acetonide, chloramphenicol 5 mg, metronidazole 10 mg, lidocaine hydrochloride 50 mg and auxiliary substances, calendula extract, isopropyl alcohol, dimethyl sulfoxide, dimethylformamide, polyethylene glycol.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
The anti-inflammatory effect of the Stop Itch Spray is due to the effects of its constituent components: the glucocorticoid triamcinolone, which has high biological activity, and calendula extract, which interfere with the biosynthesis of prostaglandin (a hormone responsible for the development of the inflammatory process).
Lidocaine has an anesthetic effect and promotes faster relief of inflammatory and allergic reactions.
Chloramphenicol and metronidazole have a bactericidal effect on most gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, as well as fungi.
The complex of biologically active substances included in the Stop-Itch Spray promotes effective treatment of inflammatory and allergic skin reactions, as well as otitis media in dogs and cats.
The stop-itch spray, according to the degree of its effect on the body, belongs to low-hazard substances (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.07-76), in recommended doses it does not have a local irritating, allergenic and sensitizing effect.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
Treatment of acute and chronic dermatitis and otitis media of allergic or inflammatory etiology in dogs and cats, complicated by primary and secondary bacterial infection: urticaria; atopic dermatitis; eczema; diffuse neurodermatitis; combs; alopecia; Infected dermatitis - reactions to insect bites.
In the treatment of dermatitis in cats and dogs, the spray is applied to the affected surfaces, after their preliminary sanitization, 2 times / day, spraying with a thin layer for 5-10 days until clinical recovery. Before use, the vial with the drug is shaken for 20-30 seconds, and, holding it vertically, press the spray head, directing the aerosol torch to the affected surface from a distance of 10-15 cm.
When treating otitis media in cats and dogs, the external auditory canal is cleaned of scabs and crusts, and thoroughly wiped. Before use, the bottle with the drug is thoroughly shaken for 20-30 seconds, and, holding it vertically, press the spray head, directing the aerosol torch into the auricle, achieving uniform moistening. Then the auricle is folded in half and its base is massaged. Processing is carried out 2-3 times / day for 5-7 days.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
The spray is compatible with other medicines and feed additives.
When working with the drug, you should follow the general rules of personal hygiene and safety measures provided for when working with medicines for animals.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
It is not recommended to use: in pregnant and lactating animals; in the presence of diabetes; with viral diseases.
In case of increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug, the Stop-Itching spray is discontinued.
