COMPOSITION
Stop-coccid 2.5% as an active ingredient in 1 ml contains 25 mg of toltrazuril, as well as excipients: triethanolamine and macrogol 400.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Stop-coccid is one of the anti-coccidial drugs of the triazintrione group.
The active ingredient of the drug - Toltrazuril, has a wide spectrum of coccidiocidal action at the stages of intracellular development of parasites, is effective against all types of coccidia, including Eimeria spp., Isospora spp., Cistoisospora spp., Parasitizing in piglets, calves, lambs and dog puppies.
Toltrazuril has a damaging effect on mitochondria and the processes of fission of the nucleus of coccidia, disrupting the formation of macrogametocytes, blocking respiratory enzymes, which leads to the death of parasites.
After oral administration of the drug, toltrazuril is slowly absorbed and has a coccidiocidal effect on the mucosa and submucosa of the gastrointestinal tract.
In the body, toltrazuril is metabolized by sulfooxidation and hydroxylation, with the formation of sulfoxide and sulfone.
It is excreted from the body mainly unchanged - up to 70%, and also in the form of metabolites with feces and partly with urine.
Stop-coccid, according to the degree of impact on the body, belongs to low-hazard substances (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76), in recommended doses does not cause side effects and complications in animals, does not interfere with the formation of immunity to coccidiosis.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
Stop-coccidВ® 2.5% is used for broiler chickens, replacement chickens, turkeys, geese and ducks with a therapeutic and prophylactic purpose for coccidiosis when a critical level of coccidia is reached in the litter (10 -20 thousand / g), as well as when birds have clinical signs of the disease.
It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before using the drug.
Stop-coccidВ® 2.5% is used for poultry with water for drinking two days in a row at a dose of 7 mg of toltrazuril per 1 kg of poultry weight (28 ml of the drug per 100 kg of poultry weight), which is equivalent to: 1 ml of the drug per 1 liter of water for drinking ... The resulting treatment solution is fed to the bird for 48 hours in a row, or 3 ml of the drug per 1 liter of water for drinking, which is fed to the bird for 8 hours a day for two days in a row.
In severe cases of the disease, the course of treatment is repeated after 5 days.
During the period of application of the drug, the bird should receive only water containing the drug.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
When working with Stop-KokcidВ® 2.5%, the general rules of personal hygiene and safety measures provided for when working with medicines should be observed. Smoking, drinking and eating are not allowed during work. At the end of work, you should thoroughly wash your hands with warm water and soap. Do not drink, smoke or eat while working. Empty vials and cans from under the medicinal product must not be used for domestic purposes, they must be disposed of with household waste. In case of accidental contact of the drug with the skin or mucous membranes of the eyes, they should be immediately washed with plenty of water. People with hypersensitivity to the drug components should avoid direct contact with Stop-coccidВ® 2.5%.
The healing solution remains effective for 48 hours. If a precipitate appears, the solution should be thoroughly mixed before use.
Violations of the drug use regimen should be avoided, as this can lead to a decrease in its therapeutic efficacy. If the next dose is missed, the use of the drug should be resumed at the same dosage and according to the same scheme.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Stop-coccidВ® 2.5% should not be used for breeding poultry, repairing young hens over 16 weeks of age, laying hens, due to the accumulation of the drug in eggs.
It is not recommended to use the drug concurrently with other anticoccidial drugs.
SIDE EFFECTS

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
