Stepka Postoperative blanket for dogs No. 4
Description
The blanket is a dressing for dogs, incl. after abdominal surgeries, it protects the diseased areas of the body on the abdomen, chest and sides. The blankets are available in seven sizes to cover all dog breeds.
Act
The postoperative blanket for animals contributes to the rapid healing of postoperative wounds, protects animals from licking wounds and prevents contamination of the seam.
Material features
The postoperative dog blanket is made of high quality and environmentally friendly non-woven fabric (100% cotton), which is widely used in medicine.
Durable, tear-resistant - if the animal does not behave calmly and tries to tear off the blanket, tests have shown that the probability of this is minimized.
Breathable - allows air to pass through, which creates a favorable environment and does not allow the wound to get wet.
Does not rub in places of constant contact of the material with the skin of the animal. Durable, environmentally friendly, easy to clean and wash, biologically neutral.
Lint-free structure - does not delaminate and does not leave lint, which allows you to easily cut out pressing places in animals with non-standard proportions.
When walking dogs in rainy and muddy weather, protects the seam from water, dirt and reagents.
The main advantages of the blanket
Quick and easy access to the postoperative suture for processing and changing the dressing can be achieved by untie just two strings around the hind legs. This allows you to speed up the dressing process and thus less disturb and frighten the animal.
With the correct tying, it is impossible for the animal to pull off or rip off the blanket from itself due to its design.
One and the same blanket can be worn not only for the entire postoperative period, but also used later on other animals. The blanket can be washed many times at any temperature, boiled, ironed and sterilized.
Size selection
To accurately select the blanket, you need to measure the chest circumference of the dog (behind the paws at the widest point) and determine the required size in accordance with the table below. The blanket is selected correctly if the strip of the open back area is not wider than 10 cm. If the dog has too non-standard proportions, then you can correct the blanket by making cutouts along the line of the machine stitch “zig-zag”. In the same way, an arched cut is made for males.

The ribbons are tied first at the hips of the dog, and then connected together at the rump. It is not necessary to remove the blanket to treat the wound. You just need to untie the tapes.
