Indications
Atonic constipation.
Regulation of stool (hemorrhoids, proctitis, anus cracks).
Preparation for surgical operations, instrumental and radiological examinations.
Contraindications
Intestinal obstruction.
Strangulated hernia.
Acute inflammatory diseases of the abdominal organs (including peritonitis).
Pain in the abdomen of unknown origin.
Gastrointestinal bleeding.
Spastic constipation.

Composition
1 tablet contains:
Active ingredient: sodium picosulfate.
Dosage and administration
Take orally. Tablets should be washed down with a sufficient amount of liquid.
Adults and children over 10 years of age are prescribed 1-2 tablets (5-10 mg).
For children aged 4-10 years, 1 / 2-1 tablets (2.5-5 mg) are prescribed.
To obtain a laxative effect in the morning, you should take the drug the night before.
Side effects
Diarrhea, abdominal pain, dehydration, impaired water-electrolyte balance, weakness, cramps, decreased blood pressure.
Drug Interaction
Concomitant use of Guttalax and diuretics or ACS increases the risk of electrolyte disorders. Concomitant administration of broad-spectrum antibiotics may reduce the laxative effect of Guttalax.
Overdose
Symptoms: Diarrhea, abdominal pain, dehydration, impaired electrolyte balance, weakness, convulsions, decreased blood pressure. In addition, chronic overdose may develop ischemia of the mucous membrane of the colon, secondary hyperaldosteronism, urolithiasis, renal tubular lesions.
Treatment: Gastric lavage, correction of water-electrolyte balance disorders, antispasmodics. Glucocorticosteroids, diuretics increase the risk of electrolyte disorders. Broad-spectrum antibiotics reduce the debilitating effect.
Storage conditions
