Pharmacological action

OST® TENDON also contains mannitol, a free radical scavenger that normalizes the chemical bond of the sodium hyaluronate chain. The biocompatibility test of the OST® TENDON medical device has proven its high degree of safety.

Special instructions
Caution is advised to use OST® TENDON in patients with a known hypersensitivity to medications. General precautions should be observed during injection into the joint cavity and peritoneal administration. OST® TENDON must be entered exactly into the area of the affected joint, if necessary, images of tomographic studies should be used to determine the area of damage. It is necessary to avoid damage to nerve sites and the entry of medical devices into the blood vessels! It is not recommended to use OST® TENDON in children, pregnant and lactating women, since clinical trials of the effects of sodium hyaluronate in these categories of people have not been conducted. Do not use a syringe if it is damaged or a syringe with broken packaging. Solution, not used immediately after opening the package, must be disposed of, since the sterility of the solution in this case is not guaranteed.
Composition
1 ml of isotonic solution contains:
Active substances: sodium hyaluronate 20 mg, sodium chloride, sodium phosphate disubstituted, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, mannitol, water for injection.
Dosage and Administration
OSTΠTENDON must be injected into the affected tendon or joint cavity once a week for up to 2 injections. The simultaneous insertion of an OSTΠTENDON medical product into several joints is possible. If necessary, cancellation of treatment.
The contents and outer surface of the syringe containing the OSTΠTENDON medical device solution are sterile until the package is opened. Open the sterile packaging by rotating the cap with the Lauer-Lok ٠logo [JIyep-Lok], open it, install a suitable needle (25 to 27 grams), fix the needle by slightly turning it. Remove air bubbles before use.
Side effects
During treatment with the OST® TENDON medical device, local secondary effects may occur, such as pain, sensation of heat, bruising, redness and swelling.
