DESCRIPTION
Sodium chloride solution 0.9% - used for dehydration and intoxication of the animal body. It is isotonic to the blood plasma of animals, regulates the acid-base balance of the body.
COMPOSITION
As an active substance 0.9 g of sodium chloride, and as an auxiliary substance, water for injection.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Sodium chloride isotonic 0.9% solution for injection is isotonic to the blood plasma of animals, regulates the acid-base balance of the body.
After administration, the drug is rapidly absorbed from the injection site and distributed in the organs and tissues of the animal.
According to the degree of effect on the body, isotonic sodium chloride 0.9% according to GOST 12.1.007-76 belongs to low-hazard substances (hazard class 4), does not irritate tissues.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
0.9% isotonic sodium chloride solution for injection is used in animals with large body fluid losses (bleeding, toxic dyspepsia), symptoms of shock, intoxication, metritis, vaginitis, as well as for dissolving various drugs.
The drug is used subcutaneously or intravenously in the following doses (ml per animal):
