Pharmacological action of
Sodium and chlorine ions are the most important inorganic components of extracellular fluid, supporting the corresponding osmotic pressure of blood plasma and extracellular fluid.
0.9% sodium chloride solution has a plasma substituting, detoxifying, hydrating effect, contributes to the normalization of the acid-base state. Isotonic to human blood plasma.
Indications
Isotonic 0.9% sodium chloride solution is widely used to dissolve drugs. It can be used for large losses of extracellular fluid or insufficient intake (toxic dyspepsia, cholera, diarrhea, indomitable vomiting, extensive burns with severe exudation, etc.), the effects of hypochloremia and hyponatremia with dehydration, intestinal obstruction, intoxication, for washing wounds, eyes, mucous membrane of the nose, for regional perfusion together with heparin, antitumor and other drugs.
Contraindications
known hypersensitivity to any component of this vaccine, as well as in the case of if the patient had symptoms of hypersensitivity after the previous administration of the Infanrix
vaccine, a severe reaction (temperature above 40 РC, hyperemia or edema more than 8 cm in diameter) or complication (collapse or shock-like condition that developed within 48 hours after the vaccine was administered, continuous crying, lasting 3 hours or more, occurring within 48 hours after vaccine administration, convulsions, accompanied or not accompanied by a fever, occurring within 3 days after vaccination) on the previous administration of Infanri vaccine cs
encephalopathy that developed within 7 days after the previous administration of the vaccine containing the pertussis component. In this case, the vaccination course should be continued with diphtheria-tetanus vaccine.
Composition
1 ml of solution for infusion contains 9 mg of sodium chloride.
Dosage and Administration
Intravenously administered. The maximum daily therapeutic dose is 3000 ml, the volume of the injected solution depends on the level of loss of liquid, sodium ions and chlorine. Other routes of administration are possible (subcutaneously, rectally). Apply only in a hospital.
Side effects
Has an effect on water-salt homeostasis, an acid-base condition. Perhaps an increase in developing edema of the brain and lungs.
Overdose of
The administration of large volumes of isotonic sodium chloride solution can lead to chloride acidosis and overhydration, as well as to an increase in the excretion of potassium from the body.
Storage conditions
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 РC. Keep out of the reach of children.
