Neosmectin stabilizes the mucous barrier, forms polyvalent bonds with mucus glycoproteins, increases the amount of mucus, improves its gastroprotective properties (in relation to the negative effects of hydrochloric acid, bile salts, microorganisms and their toxins).

It has selective sorption properties, which are explained by its discoid-crystalline structure. Adsorb bacteria and viruses in the lumen of the gastrointestinal tract.

In therapeutic doses, does not have a direct effect on intestinal motility.

Indications
