Sinulox LC syringe 3g
DESCRIPTION
Sinulox LC is an antibacterial drug for the treatment of bacterial mastitis in lactating cows.
ADVANTAGES
Broad spectrum of action
Short treatment time
Short milk rejection period
No irritation to udder tissue
Lack of resistance
COMPOSITION
The drug contains 3 g of suspension as active ingredients: 200 mg of amoxicillin (in the form of amoxicillin trihydrate), 50 mg of clavulanic acid (in the form of calcium clavulanate), 10 mg of prednisolone, and mineral oil as an auxiliary substance.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Amoxicillin is a bactericidal semi-synthetic penicillin antibiotic with a broad spectrum of action. Amoxicillin is active against most gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria isolated from udder secretions during mastitis, including staphylococci and streptococci (including S. agalactiae, S. uberis, S. dysagalactiae), corynebacteria (including C. pyogenes) and E. coli (E Coli), Bacillus cereus, Bacteroides, Campilobacter spp., Klabsiellae and Pasteurellae. Clavulanic acid inactivates the penicillase of penicillin-resistant microorganisms and thereby restores the sensitivity of bacteria to the bactericidal action of amoxicillin in concentrations that are achieved in the tissues of the udder of animals after intracisternal administration of the drug.
INDICATIONS
Sinulox LC is used for the treatment of bacterial mastitis in lactating cows.
APPLICATION
Before the introduction of Sinulox LC, milk from diseased udder quarters is milked out with subsequent disposal. The outside of the nipple is wiped with a 70% alcohol solution or special antiseptic wipes supplied with the drug. After that, the cannula of the syringe is inserted into the opening of the nipple and, gently pressing on the piston, squeeze the entire contents into the affected lobe of the udder. Sinulox LC is administered three times with an interval of 12 hours.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Milk obtained from healthy quarters of the udder, during the treatment period and within 48 hours after the last injection of the drug, is used in animal feed after boiling. Milk from sick quarters is disinfected and disposed of. For food purposes, milk can be used 72 hours after the last injection of Sinulox LC. During forced slaughter, animal meat is used to prepare meat and bone meal. Slaughter for meat of animals is allowed 7 days after the last injection of Sinulox LC.
STORAGE
The drug is stored with caution at temperatures from 3 В° C to 25 В° C, protected from direct sunlight. The shelf life of the drug, subject to storage conditions, is 18 months from the date of manufacture.
PACKING
Sinulox LC is available in the form of a sterile suspension, packaged in 3 g in plastic syringes for intracisteral administration.
