Pharmacological action
Espumisan - carminative.
The mechanism of action of espumisan is based on a decrease in surface tension at the interface separating the two phases.
Prevents the formation of gas bubbles in the mucus and nutrient suspension of the gastrointestinal tract.
In X-ray and ultrasound, it neutralizes the occurrence of image defects caused by the action of gas bubbles.
Espumisan helps to remove gas from the body to the outside naturally or through absorption into the bloodstream.

Indications
Generation and accumulation of gases in the gastrointestinal tract in excess (flatulence, aerophagy, Remkheld’s syndrome, increased gas formation in the postoperative period)
preparation for diagnostic and instrumental examinations of the pelvic and abdominal organs (ultrasound, x-ray, etc.) srdlp gas formation caused by functional dyspepsia
acute toxin poisoning, contained in detergents (foaming agents).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance

Use during pregnancy and lactation
Use of espumisan for lactation and at any stage of pregnancy is allowed.
Special instructions
Espumizan is taken by patients younger than 6 years old in exceptional cases and only in the form of an emulsion.
Espumisan does not contain sugar, therefore it can be used for diabetes and digestive disorders.
The composition of the drug includes chemical dyes, which in rare cases can cause allergic reactions.
The drug does not affect the activity of the central nervous system and does not slow down the rate of reactions.
Espumisan is safe for patients to use, whose activities are associated with the management of complex mechanisms and vehicles.

paracetamol 750 mg,
phenylephrine hydrochloride 10 mg,
ascorbic acid 60 mg
Excipients:
sodium citrate pentahemihydrate (sodium citrate 5.5-aqueous),
citric acid,
sodium saccharin (sodium saccharin),
currant flavor (food flavoring powder "black currant"),

Dosage and administration
It is taken orally, during or after a meal. If necessary, night reception is possible.
The dosage of espumisan depends on the age of the patient and the purpose of its use.
Flatulence and a feeling of fullness in the stomach: adults and children over 6 years: 3-5 times a day, 1-2 teaspoons of the emulsion or 1-2 capsules.
Preparation for ultrasound and radiological diagnosis of abdominal organs: 1 day before the diagnostic tests - 3 times a day, 2 capsules or 2 teaspoons of the emulsion.
Obtaining a double contrast image: for 1 liter of contrasting suspension - 20-40 ml.
Poisoning with detergents: depending on the severity of the poisoning, adults - 500-100 ml, children - 10-50 ml.
Espumisan for infants and young children is given from a bottle with food, or after a meal with liquid.
Side effects
When using espumisan, side effects are extremely rare, due to individual intolerance to the substances that make up the drug.
