Indications
Treatment of erectile dysfunction characterized by an inability to achieve or maintain an erection of the penis sufficient for satisfactory intercourse.
Contraindications
Means for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, including sildenafil, should not be used in men for whom sexual activity is not recommended (for example, patients with severe cardiovascular diseases, such as unstable angina pectoris or severe heart failure).
Contraindicated in patients with loss of vision in one eye due to anterior ischemic optic neuropathy.

Viasil tablets are taken orally.
Use in adult patients
For most patients, the recommended dose is 50 mg, applied 1 hour before sexual intercourse. Depending on the effectiveness and tolerability of the drug, the dose can be increased to a maximum recommended dose of 100 mg or reduced to 25 mg. The frequency of taking the maximum recommended dose is 1 time per day.
Use in elderly patients
In patients older than 65 years with liver and severe renal failure, as well as the simultaneous use of potent inhibitors of cytochrome P450 3A4 (ketoconazole, itraconazole, erythromycin, saquinavir), The use of the drug in an initial dose of 25 mg is recommended, since higher plasma concentrations can increase both the effectiveness and the frequency of adverse reactions.
Use in patients with impaired renal function
In patients with impaired renal function, mild to moderate severity (creatinine clearance within 30-80 ml / min) dose adjustment is not required.
