Pharmacological action

Anti-inflammatory drug of plant origin

The drug has a pronounced anti-inflammatory, wound healing, antibacterial, analgesic, antiexudative effect, due to the properties of the natural terpenoids included in its composition. It has a wide spectrum of antimicrobial activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including antibiotic-resistant strains. It creates optimal conditions for healing of the wound surface of soft tissues, accelerates the process of epithelization, improves microcirculation. When applied topically, it is not absorbed and does not exert a local irritant effect. The drug has no toxic properties, no teratogenic, mutagenic and carcinogenic effects have been identified, which allows it to be used in all age groups.

Indications

In general surgical practice: purulent-inflammatory diseases of the skin and soft tissues (trophic ulcers and long-lasting purulent postoperative and post-traumatic wounds, fistulas, bedsores, burns and frostbite, abscesses and phlegmon, including the face).

In dentistry: stomatitis, periodontal disease, gingivitis, alveolitis, complications of dental prosthetics.

In otorhinolaryngology: otitis media, eustachiitis, sinusitis, rhinitis, rhinopharyngitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, conditions after tonsillectomy, laryngitis, etc.

In dermatology: erysipelas, pyoderma.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance.

Composition

Active ingredient: Abisil (Siberian fir terpenes)

with 10.0% bornyl acetate 20.0 g

Excipient: Sunflower oil up to 100 g

Dosage and administration

Apply topically, externally.

In case of purulent-inflammatory diseases of the skin and soft tissues, surgical treatment of the wound surface is preliminarily performed and then the preparation is applied 1-2 times a day with an even thin layer. The duration of treatment depends on the form and severity of the disease (usually 5-10 days) and ends with the appearance of fresh granulations, epithelial islets or complete epithelization. In inflammatory processes in the maxillofacial region after opening and surgical treatment of abscesses and phlegmon, tampons impregnated with Abisil solution are inserted into pockets and postoperative wounds. The procedure is repeated daily for 5-7 days

In case of diseases of the oral cavity, treat the affected surface of the mucous membrane 2 to 3 times a day or apply turundas moistened with the drug.

For otitis media, insert a swab moistened with the drug into the external auditory meatus.

In the treatment of rhinitis, sinusitis is instilled in each nasal passage 1-2 drops 3-4 times a day. With sinusitis, the drug is injected into the maxillary sinus after its preliminary rehabilitation.

In the treatment of tonsillitis and other inflammatory diseases of the throat - treat the mucous membranes with the drug 2 to 3 times a day.

For skin diseases - the drug is applied 1 to 3 times a day with a thin layer on the affected areas. The duration of the course is individual and depends on the severity of the disease.

Side effects

Short-term burning at the place of application of the drug. People with hypersensitivity to essential oils may experience allergic reactions.

Drug interaction

Do not combine with other external agents.
