COMPOSITION AND FORM OF ISSUE

A hormonal preparation, which contains water-soluble mepregenol acetate and ethinylestradiol as active ingredients, as well as auxiliary components. Produced in the form of tablets of white or white with a grayish tinge, containing 0.1 mg of water-soluble mepregenol acetate and 0.001 mg of ethinylestradiol in one tablet. Packaged in 10 tablets in a blister or non-cell packaging made of polymeric or combined materials.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

The drug causes inhibition of sexual arousal by acting on the hypothalamic-pituitary system. The active components included in the drug cause a change in the gonadotropic regulation of reproductive function, creating a contraceptive effect.

INDICATIONS

For oppression of sexual desire, prevention of unwanted pregnancy in cats and bitches.

APPLICATION AND DOSAGE

The tablets are given upon the onset of sexual arousal in cats and bitches with food or forcibly on the root of the tongue until the complete cessation of sexual desire. The daily dose depends on the weight of the animal: up to 5 kg - 1 tablet, from 5 to 10 kg - 2-3 tablets, from 10 to 30 kg - 3-4 tablets, over 30 kg - 4 or more tablets. For each subsequent increase in body weight by 1 kg, the dose is increased by 1 tablet. In the case of rapid sedation of the animal (2-3 days), to consolidate the effect, continue taking the drug for one more day.

To maintain a calming effect, cats are prescribed the drug monthly: 1 tablet for 2-3 days. After accidental mating, to protect animals from unwanted pregnancy, the drug is administered within 24-48 hours after mating: cats - 2 tablets at a time for 2 days, bitches - a three-day course at a dose depending on body weight.

In 2-3 months after discontinuation of the drug, the reproductive function of the body is completely restored.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Pregnant and lactating females, as well as with diseases of the reproductive system, breast tumors, diabetes mellitus, urolithiasis.

STORAGE CONDITIONS AND SHELF LIFE

Store the drug in its original packaging, protected from light and direct sunlight, out of reach of children and animals, separately from food and feed at temperatures from 0 В° C to 25 В° C. Expiration date 3 years from the date of manufacture.
