The homeland of the tropical beauty is the deciduous forests of Central and South America. Gloxinia is a stunted tuberous plant with a short fleshy stem and large pubescent green leaves. Its highly decorative bell-shaped flowers can be white, pink, red and purple in color. Flowers can be simple or double, often colored in several colors, speckled or striped. Abundant bloom, from May to October, depending on the species.

Gloxinia is undemanding to care for and even a novice florist can grow it.

When growing gloxinia, the length of the daylight is of great importance. With a lack of light, the plant stretches strongly, even the leaves rise up. If there is enough light, the leaves have a deep green color and are arranged horizontally. But if the leaves are down, then the plant is thirsty, and it must be watered.

MODE OF APPLICATION

Pour expanded clay on the bottom of the plastic pot, and on top pour fertile soil, leaving a small amount of earth in the bag.

Place the pot on a tray lid. Excess water when watering through the drainage holes in the pot will accumulate on the lid.

Sprinkle generously with room temperature water.

Spread the seeds evenly over the soil surface.

Sprinkle the seeds with a layer of the remaining fertile soil (1-2 mm) and compact it slightly.

Pour water at room temperature again and cover with transparent plastic, airing once a day.

Keep fertile soil moist at all times (watering 2-4 times a week). It is better to use a spray bottle during seed germination.

Choose a warm and well-sunlit place for your pet. For germination, a window sill not on the south side is ideal in order to exclude prolonged direct exposure to sunlight. The optimum temperature regime is 22-26 В° C.

Be patient, shoots will appear within 14-25 days. Remove the plastic after emergence.

When your pet gets cramped, transplant it into a larger pot.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

Expiration date - 20 months from the date of production. Store in a dry place protected from sunlight at temperatures from 0 В° C to + 25 В° C.
