CHARACTERISTIC

Variable hibiscus - a spectacular evergreen or semi-leafy flowering plant that has the ability to change the color of buds during the flowering period, belongs to the Malvaceae family, originally from the tropical regions of China. Other names for the plant are lotus tree, Chinese hibiscus, crazy rose. Under natural conditions, changeable hibiscus grows up to 3-4 m tall. A well-developed plant has an umbrella crown. Leaves are large (about 25x25 cm), dark green velvety pubescent, toothed, 5-7-lobed (maple-shaped), on very long, up to 30 cm, petioles, drooping almost vertically with age. Hibiscus mutabilis got its name because of the changing color of the petals: first, graceful, with convex veins, white flowers bloom from the pale cream buds, the next day they turn pink and as it blooms, as it were '' are filled with blush ''. Each individual flower lasts about three days, and during this time it changes color from white to purple. Growing fast. Annual growth is 35 cm in height and 35 to 40 cm in spread. Flowering occurs in summer.

MODE OF APPLICATION

Place the seeds on a tray lid and soak them in room temperature water for 3 days, remembering to change the water once a day. After soaking, transfer the seeds to a clean surface and drain the water by releasing the pan cover.

Pour expanded clay on the bottom of the plastic pot, and on top pour fertile soil, leaving a small amount of earth in the bag.

Place the pot on a tray lid. Excess water when watering through the drainage holes in the pot will accumulate on the lid.

Sprinkle generously with room temperature water.

Spread the seeds evenly over the soil surface.

Sprinkle the seeds with a layer of fertile soil (1-2 mm) and compact it slightly.

Pour water at room temperature again and cover with transparent plastic, airing once a day.

Keep the fertile soil moist at all times (watering 2-3 times a week). It is better to use a spray bottle during seed germination.

Choose a place well lit by the sun for your pet. A window sill not on the south side is ideal to exclude prolonged direct sunlight. The optimal temperature regime is 20-25 В° C.

Be patient, shoots will appear within 5-30 days. Remove the plastic after emergence.

After 1-2 years, when your 'pet' becomes cramped, transplant it into a larger pot.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

Expiration date - 20 months from the date of production. Store in a dry place protected from sunlight at temperatures from 0 В° C to + 25 В° C.
